Bill Nye took to Twitter to blame man-made global warming for flooding across Northern California that claimed at least three lives over the weekend.
Nye, who rarely misses a chance to link extreme weather to human activities, suggested California’s flooding meant we’d be better off not pulling out of the United Nations Paris agreement to cut greenhouse gas emissions.
President-elect Donald Trump promised to “cancel” the Paris agreement the Obama administration signed in 2016. The Senate never voted on the agreement.

My neighborhood in Portland, Oregon today will have a total of 18” of snow. I am stuck in Rancho Mirage (where it has been unusually cool) and can’t get home. If this is the result of global warming then we’re going to freeze to death.
I blame the parents of Mr. Nye (the Wacko Nonscience Guy) for making me lose IQ points every time I read the stuff he says.

Globull warming cultists must think we are stupid and have incredibly short memories. They talk as if there has never been a flood, drought, hot or cold weather, tornadoes or hurricanes before 1995.
Weather Evolution is the correct term so stop with the global warming/cooling/climate change.

Yet you do, most likely, have a good ‘feel’ for how numbers work out.
I think I do...so I am instinctively skeptical of ‘climate science’. For example, how did we know the earth’s air temperature pre-satellite age? The answer is always ‘ground measurements’...and I instinctively wonder how on earth that accounts for the parts of the Earth covered in ocean.
I’d bet Nye also instinctively knows global warming is BS...but the paycheck is all too real.
This bull will continue as long as governments hand out funds for them to comment on “climate change” according to the government’s views....

Our weather people talk about prospects for rain for literally months here in Southern California.
It can be four months since the last rainfall, we need rain desperately, and within literally ten minutes after it starting to rain, the forecasters will be addressing the issue of when will it ever end.
Who can take these people seriously?

These rains are a godsend for California.
Anyway I thought it was the drought that was the result of global warming.

Hiking around the Black Hills for many years, Mr. RR and I have found several fossils. Some have tropical flora in them and many have sea critters, snails, clams etc.
Apparently, this was a tropical zone at one time.....before man came along.
There was also an Ice Age here, millenia ago. In the southern Black Hills, there is an archeology mammoth dig. They continue to find ice age skeletons. It’s a fascinating place to visit.
