A former British intelligence officer now working for a private security-and-investigations firm produced the dossier of unverified allegations about President-elect Donald Trumps activities and connections in Russia, people familiar with the matter say.
(Excerpt) Read more at wsj.com ...
The 4chan 'source' claimed he wrote the report as a troll job (effort to intentionally mislead anti-Trumpers) a year ago.
He also claimed to have hired an attorney so he can go public with the story of making it all up. This would then allow Trump to sue CNN and Buzzfeed for running with the fake news.
Now the WSJ enters this?
Found their fall guy...
More like Tommy Steele.
This “report” is not an “Intelligence Dossier” it’s anti Trump opposition research done by both the Republican and Democrat opponents
“dossier of unverified allegations”
Kind of like National Enquirer, but with a more respectable title.
What does Chrissy (there’s that name again) say?
Do you realize that no one can read the story to which you link unless they subscribe to the Wall Street Journal?
You could prepare a dossier on Jesus Christ. While at the lake, he had no visible means of support. He suspiciously divided loaves and fishes with no obvious means as to where he obtained the clandestinely supplied result. Witnesses say he has treated lepers. May be operating a medical practice without a license.
Good point re soccer.
The entire thing is obvious trolling: in the report it mentions Japanese animae and 4chan began as an animae fan site.
It lets you read a couple stories a month free.
I think the supposed conservative WSJ stepping into this mess is BIG NEWS. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have posted it.
That’s all you need to know: WSJ is working with the anti-Trump Republicans and MSM.
And outside US jurisdiction, too. Amazing how that works.

The hentai stuff made it pretty obvious that it was a troll. No man over 50 would even know about that crap let alone use it.
Here’s a trick. Copy the article headline, go to Google, enter the headline, click the web address that comes up and read the article.
“...the dossier of unverified allegations...”
My ex-husband wrote one of those about me. His lawyer, my lawyer and the divorce judge didn’t buy it, either.
Carry on, President-elect (LOVE THAT!) Trump!
Bump.
Yep a brit would call “soccer” football
WSJ is and always have been very anti Trump. The minute I saw them and John McCain as part of this I know it has to be fake.
If you ever been a Government employee or received Social Security or Government benefits
Chinese those one on you too
