Even kid’s play clothes were actually fairly presentable by comparison to what is routinely worn out in public today. A great deal more pride in appearance then, versus now.

We grew up in a better place, my friend. Americans long for the country they remember, and that's why Trump won.

I've mentioned to my kids, now and again, that we had different sets of clothes for specific activities when I was a kid. We had school clothes, play clothes, and dress clothes. Its nearly a foreign concept to today's kids.

Remember shining your school/dress shoes, and ironing your shirts and slacks? And heaven help you if you were caught with your shirt tail out on campus.

I actually liked shining my shoes. Such a clean smell.
