No one can seriously compare Trump to Reagan, but Trump is way more effective. Just a fact and I loved Reagan and his wisdom, but he let Congress bully him even when he had both Houses at the beginning.

The history major in me cries out for historical accuracy. Reagan NEVER had control of both Houses during his Presidency. He had the Senate at times. Amazing what he accomplished given that it all had to get through a Democrat House led by Tip O'Neill.

From 1981-1987 the R’s barely had the Senate and the D’s had the House.
From 1987-1989 the D’s had both.

I think it had been 40 years since Republicans controlled the House before the Gingrich revolution took it over in 1994. Gingrich was a visionary, just not a good leader of men.
