Donald Trump has selected Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to chair a vaccine safety and scientific integrity commission, the vaccine skeptic told reporters at Trump Tower after a meeting with the president-elect.
Kennedy Jr. told reporters that he accepted Trump’s offer, but did not provide further details on the commission.
The selection is sure to draw criticism as Kennedy Jr. has likened vaccines to the “holocaust.”

I grew up in northern Michigan during the 50's and 60's and there was not one reported case of autism. The only childhood disease of significance was polio and only one friend contracted it.
With that being said, autism seems to be a phenomenon of children born after 1970 and any and all suspected causes behind them should be examined exclusively.

And there used to be alternatives that were produced from non aborted cell lines, and those have dwindled and many vaccines now do not have alternatives.
I tend to give the benefit of the doubt to the man who kept Hillary Clinton out of the White House.
Also, skepticism is healthy, especially when it comes to medical practice. Too many, too much, too soon, and vaccines may cause problems. I’ve heard many stories of babies developing symptoms of autism right after vaccinations. Maybe nothing to it, but why bundle the vaccines anyway, what’s the hurry?
As for Kennedy, Trump picked someone the left won’t call a whack job, whereas if he’d chosen most anyone else, it would be evidence of Trump’s renegade, reactionary anti-science proclivities. Let them take it up with a prince of Camelot instead.
I think Trump has strong views regarding vaccines contributing to autism and he wants to get something started without being charged with witch hunting. If so, picking Kennedy was a sensible move. He’ll defuse criticism, and the research will not be hampered by political crossfire.
Your personal view doesn’t matter, either. I stand by what I said.
And that is the crux here, everyone for individial freedom should consider this when they blindly demand others must take these so that they can feel they are safe. If vaccines worked the phony argument of herd immunity wouldnt matter as long as you had the vaccine.
You have acknowledged RFK Jr. is a clown. A clown is not what the U.S. needs for setting public health policy decisions.

I don’t mind him being appointed to look into the vaccine issue, but the Scientific Integrity Commission?!? That scares me. That’s too much.
Maybe DJT is making up for kicking the airhead Caroline out of the Japanese Embassy once he takes office. (He IS kicking her out, isn’t he?)
YES! 21 shots all at once is ridiculous! THAT is exactly why they are “ridiculed”.
That the ingredients for most, or all, of them is delivered in mercury, which I think is suppose to “suspend” the actual vaccine, helps make parents too uncomfortable for words. Instinctively, we do not like it!

IMO this commission will not just he a VAX SAFETY group. The scientific integrity commission nomenclature to me indicates they will look out for children selected for medical experimentation without informed consent.

I am saying most do. And I am saying that there are fewer alternative vaccines that you can ask for that dont come from aborted cell lines.
I am not saying all do. But the trend has gone from having many different sources down to few or just one, and that the trend has been aborted cell lines have stayed while other non-aborted cell lines have been discontinued.
