Donald Trump has selected Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to chair a vaccine safety and scientific integrity commission, the vaccine skeptic told reporters at Trump Tower after a meeting with the president-elect.
Kennedy Jr. told reporters that he accepted Trump’s offer, but did not provide further details on the commission.
The selection is sure to draw criticism as Kennedy Jr. has likened vaccines to the “holocaust.”

I don’t understand why Donald did this. It’s most likely a very deliberate move, one he didn’t have to choose.

Agree, there is a lot about vaccines, especially in the last 30 years that has been pushed by the FDA (Big Guv) and (Big Pharm) like the idea of using adjuvants to cut corners and vaccine bundling that are really just insane.
We could use a little skepticism in that area, and using a outspoken Liberal on this panel can be a point that is used to clobber the media with later and still get results.

I do defend the issue of an oversight committee to monitor vaccines.
They need to do more research on vaccines. I for one have a chronic condition probably brought on from my first (and last) flu shot. That was 17 years ago and It is not something that goes away.
