Not everyone in Hollywood is a fan of Meryl Streep.
Streep is now facing backlash from those in the entertainment industry who feel her anti-Trump speech at Sunday night's Golden Globes was "hypocritical" and out-of-line for a Hollywood star.
Country star Travis Tritt took to Twitter to offer his "advice to all actors."
"Advice to all actors, musicians and entertainers: Please stick to your crafts that we all love you for and drop the political rhetoric," he tweeted.
If you have fans who respect your talent enough to spend hard earned money to see your talent, be thankful and gracious and leave it at that— Travis Tritt (@Travistritt) January 9, 2017
Piers Morgan echoed Tritt's words, adding he hasn't "heard such elitist snobbery since Hillary Clinton branded Trump supporters 'a basket of deplorables.'"

My daughter just moved down there a few months ago from Seattle. She moved to Studio City. I don’t know how long it will last though.
Hear hear from Travis Tritt. the subject has been covered by the Man in Black. Entertainers should not think they are some kind of genius political commentators:

Not in the case of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
I lived in Aneheim in 1963. We lived right across the freeway from Disneyland. I could see the materhorn from my bedroom window. Across the street from my grade school was a large orange orchard. I went back about ten years ago. The orange orchard is now an industrial park that looks like it has been there since the dawn of time.
I also lived in Vallejo in 1963-64. It wasn’t a bad place back then. Not too bad. There was a big water channel behind our house. It’s now concrete but back then it was dirt. Lots of tadpoles.
Anyway, a few houses down was a food bridge across it to the black neighborhood on the other side of the ditch. Our side looked like “Leave it to Beaver”. the other side was the exact same house designs on the same sized lots, but there were no lawns. just bare dirt. The hollow core front doors of many of the homes had holes kicked in them, and I saw a little girl one day riding her bike on the rims. No tires at all.
Both neighborhoods went to the same school. I was the roughest school I ever attended. There was a fight pretty much every day after school. It was always black on black.
My father’s side of the family are all still in Napa. When I visited the area about 12 years ago, I noticed that Vallejo and Napa had gone, culturally, in opposite directions. One is now very upscale while the other is a pit.
Can you imagine what would have happened if, say, Kelsey Grammer spoke to this same crowd about how great it was that Donald Trump won, that he would make American great again and so forth?
I’m conflicted. The schadenfreude is still enjoyable but I’m getting tired of the whinging & lying about losing, Russians and `tards from these elite “progressive” buttho’s.
Ever watch all the children pour into the streets right after dark to ply their ‘trade’ all night? It is heartbreaking. One giant cesspool for rich pedophiles.
That was a fun song from Johnny Cash. Thanks for posting.
***it is an entertainers intelligence test. She failed.***
I have noticed over the years that it is primarily the retirement age or “financially comfortable” “stars” that display such biased behavior.
This is nothing more than control freak behavior by the “stars” that was taught to them by their economic masters who use them to puke their control freak message.
The really rich buy(make) stars to sell their perverted message. Some of the “stars” become rich enough to join into this freak show.

A few bucks on ebay, and a few minutes a day, could do wonders too!
That's why I watch KDramas.
I guess it’s safe to assume they didn’t play the National Anthem before the Golden Globes. If they had there would have been about a half dozen people left in the auditorium. Come to think about it, that would have been fun.
Yes sir! Exemplified, musically anyway, by the recent contretemps between the horrible band Georgia Florida Line, and rocker (country rocker of old) Tom Petty.
Petty describes current “pop country” as ...”bad rock n’ roll with a fiddle”. And the idiots at GA-FLA line replied “you think we care what you think?”.
Answer being that Petty is right and there will be a revolt in true American country music against bs. (somebody needs to let Hannity know and have him stop using GA-FLA line song as a theme... cause it is real crapola). Thanks!
what is a KDrama? I shot my TV a while back and haven’t been to a movie in four years. I do have netflix though.
Might even call it a Golden Solution for the Golden State.
Series produced in Korea, usually about 16-20 1-hour episodes.
You can go to viki.com or dramafever.com and watch them. You can watch most for free online, or pay a few bucks a month to watch without ads.
What you don’t like the same song, different droning “artist” screeching lets get drunk, screw, party, get drunk screw, never ending HickHop bilge they call country music!
Currently country music ranks right there with rap music in my book. I turn them off when the first tone hits the radio. Thank God for classic couuntry and outlaw country on XM.
