“It was that moment when the person asking to sit in the most respected seat in our country imitated a disabled reporter,” she said, referring to a speech in 2015 when Mr. Trump shuddered and flailed his arms, appearing to mock a disabled reporter at The New York Times. “It kind of broke my heart when I saw it, and I still can’t get it out of my head, because it wasn’t in a movie. It was real life.”
Mr. Trump, in his inimitable way, spoke with Patrick Healy of The Times to respond to that attack — and then took to Twitter.

Given Streep's very stellar education at Vassar and Yale, how can she NOT be a Left-wing activist? Hence my suggestion that members of the Hollywood Left just take a year off from movie/TV show production and just go on a cross-country trip by motor vehicle to visit the people in "flyover country" to better understand the average American.

Totally agree, the media destroyed Bush, even worse on Reagan. They will be relentless on Trump, which is why I think he must keep tweeting and have a spokesman on every Sunday show. AND, we need a conservative billionaire to buy NBC. AND, we need to reform education, repeal and replace.
