Meryl Streep, one of the most over-rated actresses in Hollywood, doesn't know me but attacked last night at the Golden Globes. She is a Hillary flunky who lost big.
For the 100th time, I never "mocked" a disabled reporter (would never do that) but simply showed him "groveling" when he totally changed a 16 year old story that he had written in order to make me look bad.
Just more very dishonest media!
Not tired of winning but this?
In this I agree with most objective people. Separating Streep from her politics, nobody should deny that her body of work is impressive and she has the national and international awards to show it.
Her politics are going to get her all the awards she could ever want. She is one of most boring actors ever. You only like her since she is attacking Trump.
Another one is Robert Redford. That sob couldnt hold the ring of the duke.
Every film I watched of his he has virtually very little lines.
And a leader who fails to defend against attacks on himself, is failing to defend his supporters as well.
He had the option of ignoring stuff like that when he was Trump the business tycoon, but he's in a different role now.
[She is basically the same in every movie. Every gesture, ever expression, every pause.]
BINGO!!! and I’m sure that is what Trump was referring to, all actors are mere marionettes.
Clairvoyant, are you?
No, he’s just watched your behavior here. Predictable as the sunrise.
...national and international awards...
Most liberal like having big galas and giving each other awards.
How many of those awards were voted on “democratically” (which the left is all about democracy)
You know by regular people and not inside the trade people?
I like to see him hitting back at these lying leftist mindless Hollywood bitches.
When you are attacked you retaliate; if yo don’t you are just perceived as being weak and ineffectual.
The only way to make somebody stop beating on you is to beat them back harder; make them regret the initial attack.
I should think the entire world learned that in 1939.
Julia Roberts..dud
No, just noticing a pattern. You seem to agree with Democrats most the time. It is almost as if you are a plant.
Good for Trump.
Let NO attack go unanswered. GWB paid, and still pays, the price for being a punching bag.
Meryl Streep is indeed overrated. She is also tedious, boring, and far left dingbat.
Streep’s effort to say Hollywood and the pampered spoiled leftists that infest the town and industry are just ordinary folks is beyond pathetic and laughable.
The Golden Globes add nothing to this nation. It is a circle jerk for elite snobs.
Running and Tweeting against these chumps is a can’t lose for Trump.
Uncanny, isn’t it.
I think what that actress did last night was classless. It was supposed to be about her receiving a lifetime achievement award, which she should have acknowledged gracefully. This was meant to be one of the pinnacle achievements of her career. Instead, she pissed all over her award (and the Golden Globes) by using this moment as a platform to make a political statement.
Over time, she will come to regret this. What should have been a proud moment for her is forever tarnished.
Some years back, self-admitted child molester Roman Polanski was given an Oscar and Streep was very prominently shown giving Polanski (or whoever stood in for him) a standing ovation..and at the time, Streep had at least one daughter who was close to the age of Polanski’s victim.
That’s all anyone needs to know, really, about Streep. Rhymes with “creep” indeed!!!
Trump is wrong for two reasons. 1 it shoud be beneath him to respond to an attack from a hollywood award show. Anyone who agrees with this or watches hollywood for their political opinion is not going to be converted to his cause by a tweet response to an actor in a thank you speech.
Second. She is the best actress since Katherine Hepburn and maybe better. She rivals the finest British actresses of the last 50 years. She does accents better than anyone and some speech specialist say she is often dead on. Her range of performances is very broad, musicals, drama’s comedies. The range of characters she has played dis wider than any one I can point to. And she is recognized by her peers as the greatest.
Sometimes we confuse the politics wth the actor’s skill and I think that’s what we are doing here.
Sorry but dont agree. Insults are one of the few things that throw them off their game. Bush was above it all and mature and what did that get him?
