WASHINGTON ― As soon as she found out Donald Trump had won the presidential election, Diane* began applying for a new job. As a federal employee, she just couldnt imagine sticking around and working for a man she worried would mistreat government workers and pursue dangerous, unethical policies.

Low IQ government employees
Yeh, but they’re smart enuf to get soft/no show jobs and have us pay for their gener-ASS pensions !
Yes, I remember Chicago in early 1968. Our Alinsky neighborhood group (NCO) was protesting Urban Removal and all government planning in our community. We contacted all the press as we wanted media coverage, of course.
At the same time, the anti-war activists also contacted the media and wanted media coverage for their protest.
The media knew anti-urban removal Alinskyites would produce thousands of protestors and anti-war would only produce dozens. So the media asked the anti-war protestors to cancel their lakefront protest and join our protest at Noble Square. CBS, Bill Kurtis/Skippy and their producers seemed to lead the media direction on this.
So about 15 or 20 dirty hippies with anti-war signs showed up uninvited at our protest of about 1100 factory and janitor types. Of course, they sought the camera and the camera sought them.
About 10 of us were quite effective in preventing the hippies from getting on camera... mostly by distracting them with irrelevant side stuff. They did not get on camera.
The CBS producers tried to argue some kind of equivalence.. that everyone should get on camera equally. But we were 1100 people on our turf and the anti-war protestors were 15 or 20 who had no clue who we were... they just knew the media people.
The result was that the media did not show any of our protest on TV or mention it on the radio or newspapers.
That was typical. The citywide coalition of neighborhood Alinksy groups refused to get involved in the war issue and stayed focused on neighborhood issues. We had many protests of thousands totally ignored by the media.
Anti-war protestors would have 15 or 20 and the media would picture them as if they were representative of all protestors. The distressing part was that the suburbanites and small town folks believed the fake news that anti-war protestors had big numbers.
I don’t like reading articles like this - it only proves that our entire government bureaucracy is ideologically captured by the left.
It means only strife and conflict for Trump
Progressive drama queens have been a continuing source of amusement throughout 2016.
Like Hollyweird actors swearing they will move to Canada (it was never Mexico) if the impossible happened and Trump was elected, now their little govt. worker soldiers are wearing hair shirts: “Woe is me, how shall I carry on!?”
Leave the federal trough slop? They aren’t going anywhere. At least not of their own volition.
BEE: best election ever.
“Well, they do have reason to be afraid.”
No, not really. You literally have to be an ax murderer to get fired from a federal civil service job.
There is 95 millions Americans who are out of the job market who would gladly take these morons jobs. This Diane person wont quit. She has all the perks and most likely sits on her plush behind safe in the knowledge that she cant ever be fired.
Reagan was absolutely correct when he joked "I'm from the government and I'm here to help".
My dad was a conservative Catholic who opposed abortion, homosexuality, affirmative action, unions, and a host of other Democratic sacred cows. But he was a career federal employee (VA attorney), and detested Republicans because they weren’t the party of big government.
Good -- we need to get rid of the majority of the non-productive federal employees as we can; and, if they will voluntarily leave -- great.
MAGA!
Can you say General Discharge?
Same thing, in fact they are the ultimate class of welfare parasites.
It's time to really "drain the swamp" and decertify the unions.
Almost feel as bad for them as I do Mexico “dreamers” who won’t be getting a Ford plant.
They could go work for some well-funded Soros/RAT campaign, after all, that's probably how they got their bureaucRAT job in the first place.
True. But the benefits of a gov job trump the campaign gigs. None of them are quitting. Statistically, the number will be zero
“Sad Inauguration Workers Prepare To Celebrate A Man They Despise”
After Onagger’s second election conservatives were in the same position as the leftys. We expected to win and thought that re-electing the jug eared communist would be the final nail in America’s coffin. I dont remember any horror stories about poor traumatized conservatives having to endure attending Onagger’s inauguration even though we despise him.
“A great many government employees despised the direction the country was in under President Obama.
Numerous first rate military people left service because of President Obama.”
I was in the Honor Guard for President Nixons Inauguration as a member of the 505st PIR 82nd Airborne Division. I was honored to be at his Inauguration even though we had to listen and see the stinking hippies that showed up to try to ruin the event. Some things never change, people of the same ilk are trying to ruin Trumps day and if you are a Govt. employee and can’t deal with the election results GET A NEW JOB!
After a quick check of their voter registration, most of them should be fired.
Hate to be a real stick in the mud, but at her new job, if she can find one thanks to Obama and his policies on healthcare and taxes on small and big businesses with record unemployment and the dollar meaning almost nothing, but they can replace her in a heartbeat and never look back, as she can be assured they can find someone just as qualified. So, please punish us. She’s just like the Hollywood hipsters that are threatening to leave the US. And she’s just as important.
Funny thong is, when she bails out, they will re-write her job description and drop the pay grade probably to something more compatible to the workload.
