Today a Politico article reveals the John McCain/Lindsey Graham push to create an international crisis with Russia has found push-back from an unlikely source, Senate Leader Mitch McConnell.
(Politico) John McCain and Lindsey Graham are backing off of their push for a select committee on cybersecurity after Russian interference in the election, bowing to the political reality that the Senate Republican Conference largely does not back their idea.
[ ] Were just going to move with the individual committees and see how that works. If it doesnt work, well regroup, [Lindsey] Graham said in an interview.
The House Intelligence Committee Chairman Nunes, has already clearly stated the insufferable intelligence claims of John Brennan (CIA) and James Clapper (ODNI) just simply dont make sense.
Additionally, Nunes highlighted how neither intelligence group was willing to make their case of Russian Hacking on-the-record to the House Permanent Committee on Intelligence.

To call McCain and Graham stupid would be an insult to Forest Gump.
This interview with Assange is absolutely fascinating.
Personally I find him totally believable. The perfect record of Wikileaks makes him trustworthy IMO.
And I trust him over anyone and everyone currently employed by our government.
The trustworthiness record of the US government is the polar opposite of Wikileaks record.
Obama fall for their lead?
Yup...pretty much.
Trump is one impressive guy....he’s underestimated way too much which will help him.
All I can say is I did not vote for McCain.
It was the first election in my lifetime since I came of age, that I refused to vote for one of the two men.
If you look back, McCain has backed every single play by Obama. What pray tell would have been the difference?
You’ve got McCain chumming it up with ISIS.
I rest my case.
Good comments. Someone needs to slap those two boys upside the head and explain to them, that even if Russia did all that, their party won. If they were Democrats at least we could assume some bit of sanity was involved with their actions.
I agree with you.
My problem is this. There is no compelling evidence.
None the less McCain at least wants us to commit an act of war.
That just isn’t solid reasoning. It’s dangerous.
We know who wears the pants in Mitch’s home.. LOL
Glad to see he’s growing more balls. You can thank him for that SCOTUS seat.
Yup....it works:)
I want an Assange t-shirt in the style of the Che t-shirt with a single word on it...”Truth.”
“Dwee”..
I’d wear that shirt.
That dude may well be liberal, but he respects truth, and I respect that.
In this world of lies, truth and men who stand for truth are exceptionally rare.
Way to go, Mitch! Support Trump and You will win!
spit on it first
Graham: “Looks like a penis, only it’s much, much smaller!” Gives “new meaning” to “knocking it off!”
I think Pence and Trump had a conversation with him.
