The future First Lady of the United States set the tone for a fashion-forward 2017 when she stepped out on New Years Eve in a seriously chic Dolce & Gabbana dress. Melania Trump wore the bow-front scoop-neck cocktail dress in one of her favorite colors trusty black.
... It has bows on each strap, which are embellished with jewels and a fitted silhouette that hits a few inches below the knee.... Trump accompanied by president-elect Donald Trump donned the dress to a party at Mar-a-Lago, a Palm Beach... She accessorized simply with a sparkly cuff bracelet and her hair flowing, unadorned..-snip-
... Stafano Gabbana proudly posted an image of the Melania in her NYE dress with the caption Melania Trump #DGwoman thank you #madeinitaly. The post garnered more than 12,000 likes and congratulatory comments including Congratulations , Stefano! You do wonderful clothes that we are proud to buy and put on!!!! No matter the religion, politic opinion or color of the skin. We love you, and Wonderful dress on a wonderful lady grande Stefano!, ...
... there are designers apart from Dolce & Gabbana who are game to dress Trump. Of course I would, was Calvin Kleins response when asked if hed consider designing for the future First Lady, according to Time.
Donald Trump was elected and he will be our president. Melania deserves the respect of any first lady before her. Our role as part of the fashion industry is to promote beauty, inclusiveness, diversity. We should each be the best we can be and influence by our example, Diane von Furstenberg declared. And Tommy Hilfiger chimed in, I think Melania is a very beautiful woman and I think any designer should be proud to dress her....

Now we now have nearly a complete absence of magazine coverage of the very photogenic Trump family, including all the beautiful women-especially Melania.
Leftist magazine publishers are willing to sacrifice millions of dollars in magazine sales in order to not publicize the Trumps. The financial fallout to the designers and their advertisers must be huge. Shame, shame. They are caught between making a trump load of money and sacrificing their progressivism. So sad.
Melania's dress is inaccurately described as a MiniDress in order to make it sound inappropriate for the occasion. The Yahoo fashion/style writer and editor obviously knew the difference between a knee-length dress and a MiniDress (mid-thigh.) This constitutes as more fake news with an obvious agenda. They can't help themselves-just can't stop.
Worthless without pictures.
They are the perfect couple...reminds me a lot of Ron and Nancy...
This dress would be ‘to die for’ if I only had the body to wear it..lol...
That is not, by any definition, a mini dress!
Yes. At least Michelle was willing to wear the draperies in a cost cutting measure.
Right you are sir! I was looking for a minidress.
Gotta get used to a new first lady without the genormous derriere. (I think I can do it.)
What a first lady!!
And I would be proud to dress her as well even if I'm not a designer!
Is this considered a mini dress in Ustinkistan?
Thanks, What a breath of fresh air. They make an elegant couple.
Bless you for your kindness.. .
They lied, again. Sorry guys.

Bet she won’t be racking up 96 mill in taxpayer funded vacations. Press, silent. But when Melania takes one vacation paid with their own money the press will scream.
I didn't see any place in the article where her dress was described as a mini dress! Instead it was described below as follows
... It has bows on each strap, which are embellished with jewels and a fitted silhouette that hits a few inches below the knee...
It’s a dress. No “mini” about it. She looks great in it, too. The guy behind her looks like his head was Photo shopped on his shoulders.
