“Nice menu. Quality but not ostentatious.”
my thoughts exactly. Well-prepared, high quality food, but not what i consider to be foo-foo food - things like braised organic riverbed barnacles carefully scraped from 17th century shipwrecks built from Brazilian Teak and topped with wilted, sustainable free-range Dandelion root gently and lovingly harvested by hand by free-range, organic virgins.
That’s what I made for supper!
I hear there’s an app for that
You’re right, there’s nothing better than “free-range, organic virgins”.
Years ago I heard a Trump being interviewed and was asked about NY restaurants. He said he despised getting a meal that looked like it wouldn’t satisfy a bird. He likes “real” food and a lot of it.
