The Russian president has rejected a suggestion of the foreign ministry to expel 35 American diplomats in response to a similar move by the US. He said Obama’s act was designed to provoke a reaction, but Russia would not take the bait.
“We reserve the right to retaliate, but we will not sink to the level of this irresponsible ‘kitchen’ diplomacy. We will take further moves on restoring Russian-American relations based on the policies that the administration of President-elect Donald Trump adopts,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a statement published by the Kremlin website.
Putin said that, unlike the Obama administration, Russia will not target foreign diplomats and their families days before New Year’s celebrations.
“We will not forbid families and children from spending the New Year’s holidays at the places they are used to. Moreover, I invite the children of all American diplomats with accreditation in Russia to New Year’s and Christmas festivities in the Kremlin,” the Russian president said.

I would normally always side with USA over Russia, but in this case Putin is the man. Great way to say “Barry, you are irrelevant”

Obama has never had an actual job of any kind. "Community organizer" is just a parking space for out-of-office Democrats. His lack of experience has meant that every national leader he has come up against has handed him his ass.
Again, Vlad makes our pathetic boy king look like a fool. Inviting our diplomats’ children to the official state Christmas festivities reminds American Christians that our first family took no notice of Christmas, not even mentioning it on the official “holiday greeting” card.

Putin exhibits a little class. Realizing that Obama has only 21 days left, he decided to last out the remaining three weeks knowing that the whole issue will see the light of day then. Obama, on the other hand, has no class. He tries to use an obscure talking point of the democrat party which is unprovable from either side to create a little tension for Trump to deal with. What a jackass!
