You can expect a reciprocal action expelling a like number or more of US diplomats from Russia.
Only difference being, for the Russians, it is a vacation, where upon return from it, they can finally get some good work done.
For the diplomats let go in Russia, they won't be returning. They'll be out of jobs on 1/21.
Hell, Putin should call the U.S (Obama) ambassador in and give him and his entire staff 36 hours to leave the country. Then make a public announcement that once the United States has an authentic, legitimate government, he will be happy to receive the new ambassador and staff.
