2016 was so bad, it even got Abe Vigoda.
“2016 was so bad, it even got Abe Vigoda.”
But Keith Richards still lives!
Hal Linden and Max Gail are still around.
Hasn't Abe Vigoda died about a half-dozen times now? He's one of those people you swear you heard had died before, only to hear that he actually did die later. Sometimes makes me wonder about relativity and alternate timelines.
Billie Dee Williams is another person who I absolutely swear I heard had died several years ago. I even remember news accounts mentioning his role as Lando in the Star Wars movies. I was so sure that I was shocked to find that he is still alive.
Of course, there's always the possibility that I'm just losing my mind. Eight years of Obama will do that to you (see what I did there?).
Actually, I think 2016 was great because our nation dodged the bullet of a potential Hillary Clinton election. I thank the Lord that Trump won.
Yes, along with uncounted anonymous millions who died this year, we lost the usual assortment of celebrities, but the nation and the world gained enormously with Brexit, the Italian rejection of statism, and the wonderful outcome of our election.
And remember, although each year sees millions of deaths around the world, each year also sees the birth of millions of babies...and that is a hopeful thing.
“...2016 was so bad, it even got Abe Vigoda....”
But, hey, Keith Richards and Willie Nelson are still around.
