Putin Criticizes Western Countries for Abandoning Christian Roots
ibankcoin.com youtube video ^ | December 26, 2016 | ibankcoin.comPutin

Text of the video:

A further challenge for the national Russian identity is connected to the processes we observe outside of Russia. They include foreign policy, moral, and other aspects. We see that many Euro-Atlantic states have taken the way where they deny or reject their own roots, including their Christian roots which form the basis of Western civilization.

In these countries, the moral basis and any traditional identity are being denied - national, religious, cultural, and even gender identities are being denied or relativised. There, politics treats a family with many children as juridically equal to a homosexual partnership; faith in God is equal to faith in Satan. The excesses and exaggerations of political correctness in these countries indeed leads to serious consideration for the legitimization of parties that promote the propaganda of paedophilia.

The people in many European states are actually ashamed of their religious affiliations and are indeed frightened to speak about them. Christian holidays and celebrations are abolished or "neutrally" renamed, as if one were ashamed of those Christian holidays. With this method one hides away the deeper moral value of those celebrations.

And these countries try to force this model onto other nations, globally. I am deeply convinced that this is a direct way to the degradation and primitivization of culture. This leds to deeper demographic and moral crisis in the West.

What can be better evidence for the moral crisis of human society in the West than the loss of its reproductive function? And today nearly all "developed" Western countries cannot survive reproductively, not even with the help of migrants.

Without the moral values that are rooted in Christianity and other world religions, without rules and moral values which have formed, and been developed, over millennia, people will inevitably lose their human dignity and become brutes. And we think it is right and natural to defend and preserve these Christian moral values.

One has to respect the right of every minority to self-determination, but at the same time there cannot and must not be any doubt about the rights of the majority.

At the same time as this process plays out at a national level in the West, we observe on an international level the attempts to create a unipolar, unified model of the world, to relativise and remove institutions of international rights and national sovereignty. In such a unipolar, unified world there is no place for sovereign states. Such a world needs merely vassals.

From a historical perspective, such a unipolar world would mean the surrender of one's own identity and of God-created diversity.

It’s worth hoping for. However, much of Putin’s long term plan involves things that put him on a collision course with all of the Western nations. His Russian chauvinism may have its moments when he praises Christianity, and claims Moscow is the third Rome. But if he were such a great Christian he could use his power to end abortion by ukase. He could allow faiths other than Russian Orthodox to practice freely. And it’s worth remembering that the Russian Orthodox Church service the interests of the Russian state. It is not a break on Putin’s power; it’s a tool of his power.

Been telling people all over social media that Russia is a Christian country and that Putin is doing the job of stopping the Muslim invasion while Obama winks and looks the other way. LIvs who voted for Obama are very uncomfortable with this perspective.

Really? You can judge my soul? I guess that's how it works for followers of Putin and the Russian Orthodox Church. The church is Putin's tool. Those who wonder why the great Christian Putin won't allow different Christian faiths to practice freely in Russia without harassment, those who wonder how the Christian Putin can bomb relief convoys, those who wonder how the Christian Putin can bomb hospitals, those who wonder how the Christian Putin can align his nation with Assad, who bombs civilians in market places with barrel bombs, those who wonder why the Christian Putin wages an undeclared war against the peaceful nation of Ukraine, those who wonder why the great Christian Putin moves nuclear weapons closer to Lithuania, those who wonder why the Christian Putin keeps so many military battalions constantly positioned to invade Ukraine, those who wonder about these types of things are the worst types of Christians to you.

You might want to examine some of the outward actions of Putin and see if they comport with the teachings of Jesus Christ. Or if they're mostly cynical policies designed outside Christ's teachings, designed and developed opportunistically. You will find he is using Christianity as a faith of chauvinism to give the Russian people a good reason to kick crap out of others.

Yes, you can judge that tree by its fruit, or you can believe something Putin propagandist publish about his deep Christianity.

I can only hope that Putin’s words begin to be matched with Christian deeds. As a president for life, he will likely be on the scene for a long, long time.

A tidbit from an Internet Forum:

“What is Putin’s faith?
Putin’s father was militantly atheistic, but his mother was a devout Russian Orthodox Christian who had Putin secretly baptized into her church. However, her son conformed
to Soviet secular convention until two events in his adult life caused him to reexamine his religious beliefs.

In 1993, his wife was involved in a car accident; three years later, his family was traumatized by a life-threatening house fire. Putin then began questioning his atheism. Before he departed for a diplomatic trip to Israel, his mother gave him a baptismal cross. He said of the occasion: “I did as she said and then put the cross around my neck. I have not taken it off since.” In a nation where soldiers were forbidden from wearing crosses to the end of the U.S.S.R., his statement has been widely noted.”

You can’t judge his soul bit you can judge his actions. A mass murdering KGB goon is not a Christian in any way, and is certainly not defending Christendom.

Btw, which wife are they talking about? The 15yo gymnast he’s banging?

Luckily, you and elhombrelibre are both powerless and won’t have any say so in what Trump will do as far as foreign policy is concerned. Thus your axes that both of you seem to have to grind against Russia and how Trump will strategically deal with her and with Putin, will be an exercise in your own futility.

Politics makes for strange bedfellows, such as the Roosevelt/Churchill/Stalin axis during WWII. Sometimes the enemy of your enemy is your friend. I trust Trump and his advisors, not what either of you two have to say. Interesting that you are in the same anti-Russia/Putin camp as John McCain and his girlfriend Lindsey Graham, neither of whom are friends (to say the least) of the President elect.

What evidence do you have for Putin committing or even ordering mass murders?

Why are you holier than thou?

Did he engage in mass murder? That would change my mind about him. Can you provide some details that I can research?

Now if he was just a murdering KGB goon, then we have to remember that a murdering Pharisee goon once changed to become a pretty strong defender of Christianity.

No, I am reporting his action. Matthew 7:15-20

"15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them."

A mass murdering KGB goon is not a Christian in any way, and is certainly not defending Christendom.

The Apostle Paul (formerly Saul) was a mass murderer, putting to death Christians in the 1st century. He became a founder of the religion which you claim to be a member.

Know this, when you’re still alive, it is never too late to come to Jesus, honestly seek repentance, and turn your life over to Him.

I suppose that's why he stated in the KGB and the communist party, to please his mom and to demonstrate his Christian faith.

Yeah, his years in the KGB and the atheistic communist party were just a youthful indiscretion. No one would think he was just an opportunist then or now, like Milosevic.

So, now opportunists say and do things which run counter to what would be at their advantage?? He would've been deified if he had simply been another progressive Eurocrat who sold out his country to the globalists. Dude, look up the definition of opportunist.

I take Trump at his word; he wants to make America great again. At some point his desire to make America great is going to clash with Putin’s desire to be the dominant world power in Europe, to destroy NATO, and to make all the former Soviet colonies kowtow to him and his cult of personality. I have no doubt he’ll dupe some people, and I’ve no doubt that there will be quislings willing to aid him. Reality will matter more than the fluffy flattery Putin has used on Trump.
