Putin Criticizes Western Countries for Abandoning Christian Roots

Text of the video:

A further challenge for the national Russian identity is connected to the processes we observe outside of Russia. They include foreign policy, moral, and other aspects. We see that many Euro-Atlantic states have taken the way where they deny or reject their own roots, including their Christian roots which form the basis of Western civilization.

In these countries, the moral basis and any traditional identity are being denied - national, religious, cultural, and even gender identities are being denied or relativised. There, politics treats a family with many children as juridically equal to a homosexual partnership; faith in God is equal to faith in Satan. The excesses and exaggerations of political correctness in these countries indeed leads to serious consideration for the legitimization of parties that promote the propaganda of paedophilia.

The people in many European states are actually ashamed of their religious affiliations and are indeed frightened to speak about them. Christian holidays and celebrations are abolished or "neutrally" renamed, as if one were ashamed of those Christian holidays. With this method one hides away the deeper moral value of those celebrations.

And these countries try to force this model onto other nations, globally. I am deeply convinced that this is a direct way to the degradation and primitivization of culture. This leds to deeper demographic and moral crisis in the West.

What can be better evidence for the moral crisis of human society in the West than the loss of its reproductive function? And today nearly all "developed" Western countries cannot survive reproductively, not even with the help of migrants.

Without the moral values that are rooted in Christianity and other world religions, without rules and moral values which have formed, and been developed, over millennia, people will inevitably lose their human dignity and become brutes. And we think it is right and natural to defend and preserve these Christian moral values.

One has to respect the right of every minority to self-determination, but at the same time there cannot and must not be any doubt about the rights of the majority.

At the same time as this process plays out at a national level in the West, we observe on an international level the attempts to create a unipolar, unified model of the world, to relativise and remove institutions of international rights and national sovereignty. In such a unipolar, unified world there is no place for sovereign states. Such a world needs merely vassals.

From a historical perspective, such a unipolar world would mean the surrender of one's own identity and of God-created diversity.

Russia’s intervention in Syria did protect Christians there. That’s an objective fact. You can scoff all you want, you are just showing your true colors.

There has not been one shred of evidence produced that Putin did anything to help Trump beat the wicked witch Jezebel.

It’s first and most important goal was to protect Russian expansion into the Middle East. Then, to protect Assad, the Russian puppet. The saving of Christians is ancillary and a rationale, not a very important one to Putin. He kills Christians in Russia and Ukraine all the time. Why do you think Syrian Christians are so special to him? Why do you think this absolute Czar allows abortion if he’s so Christ like in your mind?

I’m ambivalent. Is there any statement on record from Putin, disavowing some of the evil acts he has perpetrated? I keep hearing that he is a Christian, and I hope that’s true, but if he has not publicly repudiated his former bad acts, I’m a bit leery.

It’s true; God has used despots to further His plans, many times. And I am a Trump supporter. But, I just have this nagging bit of Scripture at the back of my mind, “Even the elect will be fooled”. I pray He was referring to someone other than DJT or Vladimir Putin. Only He and that “man of sin”, to which God refers, here, knows the truth. Stay close to God and His Word, that we will not be fooled when the “man of sin” does appear, because if “even the elect will be fooled”, the rest of us are in grave spiritual danger. Just one more thought: Donald John Trump’s name, means “world ruler, graced by God, and trump -— to announce, or to triumph over. Does the Scripture prophesy of such a man, other than the “man of sin”?

One of the handicaps we face in the west is the endless propaganda about Russia. It’s quite hard to tell what Putin has or hasn’t done as most of what we read is speculation or worse propaganda. Did Putin order the murder of the guy with Polonium-210? Or was it done by rogue elements of the FSB? Did the CIA do it in order to frame Russia? Wouldn’t be the first time the CIA has launched a false flag attack. Without real facts there’s very little to go on.

Because of this ambiguity and the fact that western press lies more often than they tell the truth, I prefer to look at the outcomes or fruit of Putin’s rule instead of the garbage I read in the press. And from that perspective Putin’s rule has been quite good for Russia. Not perfect, but about the best you can expect for a 2ed world nation.

How is protecting an existing interest an expansion?

>The saving of Christians is ancillary and a rationale, not a very important one to Putin. He kills Christians in Russia and Ukraine all the time.

Prove it. And don’t start telling me that the gay pride running, neo-nazi frog stepping Ukrainian government is Christian.

>Why do you think Syrian Christians are so special to him? Why do you think this absolute Czar allows abortion if he’s so Christ like in your mind?

Interestingly enough as the Church increases in power so does their agitation to ban abortion. Putin’s been asked by the secular groups several times to restrain the anti-abortion activists and each time he’s blamed the people being targeted by the anti-abortion groups. Slow change is often best and Putin appears to be engaging in it.

Nor does Putin have absolute power. He rules via a combination of popular support, the support the various groups in the government, the church and the few remaining oligarchs.

>You can believe Putin if you want. Just keep in mind that he’s not the friend of free men, free nations, or the USA. In fact, he’s not a friend of Russians either.

All Putin had to do be secure in Russia was continue the looting and do whatever the Clinton’s told him to do just like Yeltsin. He’d be 10 times richer today. Instead he locked up the Oligarchs who where looting the country, told the US to screw off when we where encouraging gay “couples” to adopt Russia children and use them as sex toys. To this day our media has never reported Putin’s full statement on way he banned adoptions from America. There’s no other reason to cross the US that unless it was for love of country.

Of course as a Neo-Con you could never love your country and it’s people. It’s all about lofty ideas and ideals that led to conquering Iraq and turning it into a living hell. Having failed in Iraq I guess you’ve decided to double down and do the same to Russia. Just like with socialism, I’m sure Neo-Conism will work this time!~

Russia’s actions saved the Christians there. You are making unfounded assertions that somehow, this noble action was motived only by bad motives. But it doesn’t matter to Christians Syria. They will not have to all flee their homes now like they would have if you had got your way.

Ronald Reagan allowed abortions too, so did every single other GOP president since Roe V. Wade. Abortion rates have plummeted dramatically since Putin took office. Another red herring from you. You are addicted to spewing out logical fallacies to cover up you anti-Christian neocon policy preferences.

You’re obviously an old man, whose globalist and neocon beliefs have failed. Stubbornly, you cling to anti-Christian and anti-Western ideologies. Sad, but not forever. There is a new conservative movement in America, one that stands up for the truth and right, one that won’t support the genocide of Eastern Christians for dubious geopolitical goals.

Neocons, your days are coming to an end. You will be cursed forever by future generations as traitors to your civiliazation.

I can easily believe the one leaving the WH is a disciple of the “man if sin.” In my view he has made his allegiance clear.

Thanks for the thoughtful post...

Russia has been branded the “boogieman” by the media, leftists, elitists, and globalists from the likes of Obama to McCain.

Generally, I find I am well-served to take the opposite stance of those groups, so I agree with you, we need to have a true reset of our relations with Russia.
