Don Lemon believes that if Donald Trump is given less airtime by cable news channels he will be forced to hold a press conference.
The president-elect has not held a press conference in five months, and has chosen instead to use Twitter to announce his cabinet nominations. The CNN anchor said that if he was a news executive, he would not cover Trump’s tweets.

Ummm, no he won’t. CNN doesn’t add significantly to PEOTUS’s twitter following.
The media strangled itself with their left wing bias. People don’t want THEIR filter - they want the news as is.
That’s why Trump is way ahead of his time and is actual more in tune with new media and what people want than the media itself.
if they haven’t figured it out by now, they may not ever . . .
I hope they redo the press credential process. Right now the mainstream networks choose who is allow in the briefing room. I hope they put Drudge and others in the front row and a bunch of other new media in the middle and then have maybe 4 spots in a weekly lottery for all the alphabet networks. No seat for NBC or MSNBC.

Perhaps they will tell their viewers it's illegal to read Trump's tweets - and they should only get their news from CNN.

It’s a dilemma. CNNABCCBSNBC desperately want to slam Trump’s appointees. But to do that, they have to start the story: Donald Trump announced today that he is appointing ___ as Secretary of ___.
As Trump has tens of millions of followers, the narrative is already out and running before CNNABCCBSNBC rounds up the usual suspects to say what an awful job Trump is doing. By the evening news, it is already old news. It sucks to be a dinosaur after the asteroid strike, doesn’t it Wolf?
