The family has travelled to White House South for the holidays but DJT continues to work in addition to have some family time and get in a round of golf with Tiger Woods. Maybe a few more announcements this week but we ll expect to see amazing things to come down after the New Year, leading up to Inaugural
Ha! Love those two ladies.
I'm making fudge tonight. Two in the family have ask me to make them some because the fudge at the Christmas Party went to apparently other family members. I told them I would make them some after Christmas. So tonight is the night.
I just dropped my first spoon into a cup of water to test if it makes a ball. It's not ready to put in the sink of water yet. Both sister-in-laws want peanut butter in the chocolate fudge.
I’ve used a candy thermometer for the last thirty years. It’s just more consistent for me. But it helps to learn using the water method

My mother didn’t make candy. My sister learned to make fudge in 7th grade home ec. My grandmother made caramels. And chocolate fudge. She also made them as icing for Devils food cake

Glad you liked the movie, I was pleasantly surprised at the end and liked it. As it turned out, it was a darn good thing he woke up!
Not being a fan of Lawrence has to do with her outspoken lib politics. She has the right to say and do what she wants but as a movie goer who has to pay to see her, I have to argue with myself to go to her movies. My hubby, who does not get into the politics, wanted to see it so....
But there are some that I absolutely refuse to go see and he goes with a friend or youngest son.
Reason I was absent from thread yesterday:
The good news, hubby will be fine, thank the good Lord.
The bad news, was awakened around midnight night before last by hubby who was swearing profusely, short of breath and complained about his head was swimming.
He got up to go to the bathroom, passed out, ended up in the tub, hitting and scraping his head finally made it back to bed to wake me up.
After a night and most of the day in ER, he was sent home with a heart monitor.
All the many tests they ran on him, thankfully, came back good but to be doubly sure want him monitored for a month.
Heart specialist feels he had a vagal reaction which isn’t the sign of a serious illness.
We had a very normal quite night last night and are feeling very blessed.

I’m in such a good mood again today! It all started on 11/8, late in the evening when the press started crying...and our man won! I may even be smiling in my sleep!

A very scary time for sure, especially when I couldn’t get him up and into car, he was so dizzy, thank goodness for 911.
