Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle is in the running for the White House press secretary position, Politico reported.
Guilfoyle, who joined Fox News in 2006, does not have political experience. She currently is a co-host on the "The Five," and also offers legal and political analysis on other shows. She is still serving in those roles, despite meeting with President-elect Donald Trump's transition team three times.

No to Guilfoyle
I met her a few times when she was in SF. She’s not dumb. And she can appear smart with enough preparation but can easily be derailed if a question comes from left field. And a good Press Secretary needs to be a good fielder or deflector and she’s not.
She lacks the verbal discipline of Spicer...she endorsed Romney....and her "bomb-throwing" should be confined to her columns and TV appearances, the stiletto being preferable to bombs.
Sean has the professional background for the job, when necessary he has a steely look that I like...and, unlike Ann, he looks well-fed.

I think Diamond and Silk would be a hoot to watch! Please don’t take Tucker, I wait all day to watch him toy with snowflakes, liberals and young women 14 minutes into their 15 minutes of fame!
I could watch this for hours. Amazing!!!
I think there are plenty of tough women who could do this job.
Yes.
Thank Heaven someone is observing the rules here.
I don’t care who he picks, as long as the person wears an open carry firearm and has a strong Russian accent.
No doubt. But things other than "toughness" are a factor...family situations, children, bad hours, continual pressure, the ability to move to DC and live in a rental unit, prior experience in the press relations business plus affinity with and loyalty to the Big Enchilada.
I'm open to other names I haven't thought of.....if you have two or three names, please post.
As I stated in my original post, there's undoubtedly a reason there's been no female press secretarys in the entire DC governmental/political history save for two, Perino (15 mos.) and Myers (24 mos.) whose combined tenures lasted a short 39 months in their jobs...and the reasons for this have nothing to do with sexism or mysogeny.

good god, no.
Laura Ingraham would be a 1000 times better.
I think Tammy Bruce would be great. She’s not into the cleavage and mini skirts (probably ‘cause she’s a lesbian). She’s smart and tough. Her best asset might be that she used to be a liberal activist so she knows how the other side thinks and operates, so she knows exactly how to handle them.
Tammy Bruce would be an EXCELLENT choice!!!!
Wow, would I like to see Newt Gingrich level them same way Rumsfeld did at first Iraqi war !!!
Wow, would I like to see Newt Gingrich level them same way Rumsfeld did at first Iraqi war !!!
I can’t think of any press secretaries who last long. They all burn out.
HA!HA! Thank you very much!
LOL. You certainly have a point there. I am irritated though, to think that in recent years, being gay or lesbian is suppose to be a resume enhancer.
I figure they can keep their mouth shut the same as “heterosexual” (that’s code for “normal”.) persons do.
Frankly, it should be Sean....Hannity! He’d repeat the reporters to death, interrupt their questions and then repeat ‘em to death again!
You can say THAT again, Bushbacker!
(Oh, wait...no more repeats, please....)
LOL

Leni—Just announced that Sean Spicer will be WH Press Secretary.
You nailed it!
