It's Official: Clinton's Popular Vote Win Came Entirely From California
Investors Business Daily ^ | 12/16/2016 | JOHN MERLINE

Posted on 12/19/2016 8:53:16 AM PST by Mozilla

Democrats who are having trouble getting out of denial aren't being helped by the fact that Hillary Clinton's lead in the popular vote has topped 2.8 million, giving her a 48% share of the vote compared with Trumps 46%.

To those unschooled in how the United States selects presidents, this seems totally unfair. But look more closely at the numbers and you see that Clinton's advantage disappears.

While Clinton's overall margin looks large, it is due to Clinton's huge margin of victory in one state — California — where she got a whopping 4.3 million more votes.

California is the only state where Clinton's margin of victory was bigger than President Obama's in 2012 — 61.5% vs. Obama's 60%.

But California is the exception that proves the true genius of the Electoral College — which was designed to prevent regional candidates from dominating national elections.

In recent years, California has been turning into what amounts to a one-party state. Between 2008 and 2016, the number of Californian's who registered as Democrats climbed by 1.1 million, while the number of registered Republicans dropped by almost 400,000.

Many Republicans in the state had nobody to vote for in November.

There were two Democrats — and zero Republicans — running to replace Sen. Barbara Boxer. There were no Republicans on the ballot for House seats in nine of California's congressional districts.

At the state level, six districts had no Republicans running for the state senate, and 16 districts had no Republicans running for state assembly seats.

Republicans knew Clinton was going to win the state — and its entire 55 electoral votes — casting a ballot for Trump was virtually meaningless.

If you take California out of the popular vote equation, then Trump wins the rest of the country by 1.4 million votes.

In my CA assembly district, the Dem candidate, Maratsuchi, easily recaptured his seat from the RINO never-Trumper, Hadley, who squeaked in back in 2014. No great loss, except that it gave the Dems a two thirds Assembly majority with the power to change Property tax amendments (Prop 13).

CA alone made the difference. HRC won NY by about 1.5 million votes so if u take that away Trump won the rest of the 48 by almost 3 million popular votes. Trumps biggest state win margin was Texas by about 800k so even if you take texas away from Trump Popular vote still clearly trump among the other 47 states. Point of article points out how CA could have dictated a President to the entire Nation if not for founders making us a Republic, not a true democracy, again the brilliance of the founding fathers.

Every one of the millions of conservatives in California, including me, already knew this. Over one million illegal aliens showed up at the California DMV to get their drivers licenses. I assume that the SEIU employees working in the DMV offices registered them to vote, whether the illegal knew it or not. Even if the illegal did not vote, the illegals ballot was probably mailed to a SEIU address. California is gone, and it went fast.

All the more reason to deport illegals and build the wall.

Unintended consequences. The more they focus on this, the more likely it is that Trump (and Sessions) will order a review of elections with an eye towards fraud and illegal activity.

Frankly, it is long overdue. The party that cries “every vote must be counted” might be surprised.

Don’t forget in 2008 CA adopted ‘open primary’, with illigals and criminals (now voting), the top 2 are going to be dems in most places. Even formerly solid conservative areas like OC and even PS have gone pretty blue.

The Beasts popular vote advantage came from just three counties - Los Angeles in CA, and Queens and the Bronx in NY.

No one has ever checked this state for election fraud. Could it be that it has gone on for so long that everyone accepts this as valid? I live in California and I don’t know but one person that admits they voted for Hillary. Are they all that ashamed?

Basically it is illegals from Mexico and possibly China, which sends them by ship to California, that helped tipped the balance to give Hillary the popular vote.

LA County? No surprise at all, that’s the same place these corrupt politicians seeded millions of illegal aliens then supported them with our tax dollars with a gun to our heads.

To be fair, neither Herself nor The Donald actually made many campaign stops in California, though Herself did schedule a number of fundraisers there, some of which she could not attend because of health issues. The few appearances that The Donald put in there (fundraisers only) were mostly so rife with protesters, that there would be no public campaign speeches.

So far as the integrity of the vote in California goes, who would be the guardians of that virtue? The majority has no incentive, and the minority is just not numerous enough to overcome the disparity.

"Over 500,000 Online Voter Registrations in Final 48 hours before California Deadline"

"Online Voter Registration" is easily performed by or for illegal aliens and dead people. The 500,000 was probably the result of a panic on the part of the Democrats (they weren't able to stuff as many ballots in other states as they wanted). How many millions of "voters" registered online this year alone?

They wouldn’t be ashamed if the DNC is paying them or giving them incentives to cheat and looking the other way.

California has certainly changed from the days of Nixon, Reagan and Pete Wilson. It has to be mostly due to the number of foreign nationals entering the state. Between Mexicans, Chinese and Muslims that doomed the state.
