The Los Angeles Times has published an editorial arguing that the Electoral College shouldn’t be allowed to choose the next U.S. president, on the grounds that it is unconstitutional.
Needless to say, Kenneth Jost’s argument is a very bold one, since the Constitution explicitly creates the Electoral College and describes how it works; the system was even refined with the 12th Amendment. But Jost, an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center, says that’s no barrier to having the Supreme Court abolish the Electoral College by fiat.

Since when can these brain-dead people understand that we are not a “democracy”. Even the ancient Greeks understood the danger in a democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic which is essential for Individual natural rights not to be destroyed by a “majority”. As Marx stated, democracy creates socialism (slavery) which will create a totalitarian (communist) state. Socialist governments (like ours now) create slave mindsets-—lazy people who will prefer security to freedom. We have so many uneducated people who are “happy” to be entertained by TV 24/7 that we are becoming brain-dead.
Of course, the useful idiots want us all to be total slaves of the State so they can force their worldview of Slavery is Freedom, Men are Women and Vice is Virtue on us, so we become total slaves of the state and God can be eliminated so there is no such thing as individual Natural rights.
They need the individual destroyed for the collective mindset (group-think so individuals can be destroyed). That is why schools “group” everyone, reducing them to a vulgar sex act or whatever, so they can dehumanize people (reduce them to a group). It creates hate/dislike since we are tribal, social animals by nature.
Vice is slavery. You have as many masters as you have vices (St. Augustine). That is why vice is promoted to your children in TV and skools 24/7—to normalize an evil worldview—embed irrational emotions which will destroy Reason and Logic. Evil, immoral people are what makes a culture into a worthless, dumb, slave culture..

The EC is the very essence of the constitution. We are NOT the United persons of America rather we are the United STATES of America.

Two words....”adjunct professor”
Actually the constitution worked as designed. Clinton won California and she got the electoral votes. The popular vote is a discussion tool only and irrelevant to our electoral process.
But if they want to go there, I would suggest a national ID card in the form of a passport that gets scanned when you vote. You have to be a US citizen. Now if they complain about that you know their real intention.
