The FBI is supporting the CIA's conclusion that Russia interfered in the presidential election with the goal of supporting Republican candidate Donald Trump.
In a message sent to employees, CIA Director John Brennan said he had spoken with FBI Director James Comey and James Clapper, the director of national intelligence.
Brennan said in the message that "there is strong consensus among us on the scope, nature, and intent of Russian interference in our presidential election."
A U.S. official who had seen the unclassified message from Brennan confirmed it to The Associated Press on Friday.
President Barack Obama is promising that the U.S. will retaliate against Russia for its suspected meddling in America's election process, an accusation the Kremlin has vehemently denied.

The electors are not random people from a Luntz focus group. They go there to ratify the vote of their state, not to debate or deliberate.
Yes, of course you’re right. What is new is the amount pressure/coercion/threats on the Electors. What frustrates me is the useful idiots like McCain & others supposedly on our side helping to push the Dem self serving narrative.
So, we find “intent” where Russia is involved, but the FBI (Comey) can’t find “intent” where Hillary is involved (server/emails). He’s an amazing guy!
The words in the article certainly are not saying they support the NY Slimes & Washington Compost reports on “leaks from unnamed CIA sources”.

Fantastic or sad! A more than 150 post thread and there are just two commenters who actually managed to read the text and see what the PM (propaganda media) did here. Parse the words is the meme of the day.
Of course the FBI is backing this lame-ass narrative. Cannot wait until Trump & Sessions start draining that swamp too.
Well here is the thing if we played this out. These guys would have two other choices:
They can vote for Hillary and cause a civil war because they got some “pressure”.
Or they can vote for some random idiot and cause more chaos for weeks.
Obviously neither of those are going to happen.
They will vote for the winner of the election in their states, like is expected, and as the only reason why they are even electors in the first place since they are there based on only who won their state.
These simply are not neutral players. In fact there wont even be any Democrat electors in the same place. Like I said, it is all purely ceremonial.
That is a very nice thought. I guess all these electors who have been threatening to change their votes are just practical jokers.

Yes that’s true. I’ts a given they are partisan or they wouldn’t have been made Electors in the first place. That is one of things that has made me uneasy about the perception that their vote is automatic when we know there some pretty deep dislike for Trump within the GOP Establishment and most of the Electors are tied to that establishment. Give them a good enough reason/excuse could they go with someone else or abstain? Well that is the question isn’t it?

The only people even saying anything are DEMOCRATS, whom were never going to vote for Trump, making a bunch of noise in order to start a narrative to fruitlessly “convince” GOP electors to “switch”.
That is why all of the headlines kept emphasizing electors as just some generic thing, and not their true nature as hand-picked partisans assigned to vote as they are told.
It was seen as nothing but a desperate ploy from day one.
This is a move to inoculate the intelligence establishment from being gutted, disassembled and re-purposed by the incoming administration. Brennan is attempting to use his organization’s disinformation machine to connect the Trump win directly to the Russians, betting that this will prevent the new administration from gutting and repopulating the existing intelligence establishment. He’s hoping the new administration will not take action against them if it appears this is simply Trump taking revenge on the intelligence services and acting as a puppet of Russian interests. This could work if Brennan had real credibility as an honest spook instead of a reputation as a total political tool of the present “Arabist” Obama administration. Also the MSM is now totally a puppet of the intelligence services, and are deeply involved in legitimizing “phony” news. One only needs to look at the Syrian Civil War humanitarian disaster theater now on display daily via the networks to understand how totally the content of news organizations are manipulated.

I seriously cannot wait until Tuesday so these stupid conspiracy theories from you guys can FINALLY die.
It is very possible that the alleged interference from Russia resulted in Trump receiving fewer votes than he would have otherwise received, so it may have actually helped Hillary. If the information damaging to Hillary was coming from Assange, without any help from Russia (Assange claims that his information came from inside leaks), then Trump was being harmed by accusations of Russian help, without actually receiving any help from Russia, thus probably costing him the loss of some votes.
So will there be troops/marshals sent to the 50 individual state capitols to prevent the count? Or maybe just the states Trump won.
