The electors are not random people from a Luntz focus group. They go there to ratify the vote of their state, not to debate or deliberate.
Yes, of course you’re right. What is new is the amount pressure/coercion/threats on the Electors. What frustrates me is the useful idiots like McCain & others supposedly on our side helping to push the Dem self serving narrative.
Well here is the thing if we played this out. These guys would have two other choices:
They can vote for Hillary and cause a civil war because they got some “pressure”.
Or they can vote for some random idiot and cause more chaos for weeks.
Obviously neither of those are going to happen.
They will vote for the winner of the election in their states, like is expected, and as the only reason why they are even electors in the first place since they are there based on only who won their state.
These simply are not neutral players. In fact there wont even be any Democrat electors in the same place. Like I said, it is all purely ceremonial.
