As Pope Francis officially opened this year's Christmas Nativity scene in St. Peter's Square, he said Jesus was a "migrant" who reminds us of the plight of today's refugees.

Sorry, he was never a migrant. He was a political refugee as a child but his family returned to their original home in Nazareth as soon as it was safe. Not only did he not receive welfare from the Egyptians, or try to impose his culture on them, he also did not migrate there. Just not a migrant. The pope thinks we can’t read.
