Actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger believes it is time for all Americans to throw their support behind President-elect Donald Trump.
In an interview on Today Thursday morning, the new host of NBCs Celebrity Apprentice who stumped and voted for Ohio Gov. John Kasich in the primaries and later said he would not vote for Trump in the general election said that now that the election is over, it is important to put divisions aside and come together for the good of the country.
What changed is that now he is elected and now it is very important that we support the president and that we come together and we stop whining, and it becomes one nation, Schwarzenegger told host Matt Lauer.
Schwarzenegger said he was inspired by a letter that former President George H.W. Bush wrote to then-incoming President-elect Bill Clinton before he took office, in which the Republican wished his Democratic successor good luck, because it would mean the country was successful.
When someone is elected, then you get 100 percent behind them and you help them shape the future, he said. Its very hard for people to do that, but thats the effort we all have to make.

He sure did sound like a girly man during the election. Wouldn’t even vote.
“...Its very hard for people to do that, but thats the effort we all have to make....”
It’s only difficult because a large percentage of the people we’re dealing with on the other side are psychotic, spoiled children who can’t face reality without a “safe zone”, a “trigger warning” sign, and a stuffed teddy bear to cry on.
Stop whining and get to the chopper!
Can’t stand him...
Ahnold said it but liberals are still running around hollering how Putin helped elect Trump.
Most people don’t care. The election is over and the country has moved on.
That’s bad news for the Democrats.
Now this play actor is playing den mother? What useless moron this guy is.
FWIW, Putin had no effect on my vote and I saw nothing when I voted that made me fill out the ballot for Trump.
I wasn’t under the influence of a foreign government and I voted as dictated by my conscience.
Liberals can’t handle that and their argument basically is Putin swindled the American people into voting for Trump.
You don’t even need to read it to see how stupid their argument is - that they think the American people are stupid.
That’s the Democrat playbook and is all they know when they lose.
Putin had ZERO affect to the voters on this election. This is is just a desperate B.S. attempt from the same Globalist that were b*tching about the Electoral college should really be based off the popular vote until they lost that debate.
Now the Globalist are pretending to love the Constitution and use the electoral college to keep Trump out.
They just cannot accept defeat.
Exactly.
59% of respondents in a new FOX NEWS poll said the Russian hacking controversy had no effect on their vote or their acceptance of the election result.
In other words, the country isn’t buying the liberal claim Trump illegitimately won due to improper foreign influence upon our election.
Once this manufactured outrage has run its course they’ll find something else to pin the blame on Trump.
Yeah. He should go back ‘to the chappa..”
lol
I think it was one word
Gettodachopper!
I voted for Trump because Hillary in the oval office was unthinkable. It would have been more war on cops, Christians and decent people who just want to be left alone to take care of themselves and their families.
Schwarzenegger is sucking up to the boss apparently.
Had such high hopes for you, Arnold, when you were elected Governor of California, but you turned into just another gun grabbing liberal.
Thanks for the post election Trump support, but you can go back to your hand wringing over global warming now.
Your all a bunch of whining TOOOMAS!
You’re just a Putin stooge.
He is living rent-free in your head.
Yeah, that’s the MSM meme of the month.
Lol!!! That’s the sound bite that was in my head when I read the headline!!
