The Energy Department said Tuesday it won't provide the names of staffers who worked on climate policy or other issues to President-elect Donald Trump's transition team, even as it pledges to cooperate with the incoming administration.

Rummychick found a bunch of pics online with their names.
I’m sure they can be found by DJT.
Doesn't matter why they wanted the info; it's irrelevant. It's a management prerogative. As has been noted, they're subject to Civil Service protections.
As for something "being used against them," here in the real world we call that accountability.
This is foolishness and arrogance on the part of the EPA. They may think they're sending a message, but the message received is much different.
It shows the need to come in with a fire hose and steel toed boots.
That is obscene, considering the fact that that agency produces no measurable benefit for the American people.
Shut it down!
Just in case...that indicates a need for investigation. A thorough, painstakingly slow investigation. One that requires their presence for hours in a room with no windows.
“...many will be looking for work elsewhere once Perry is at the head of it. he wanted to do away with the Department...”
Did he finally remember the name of it?
LOL
“What does the administration want the names for if not to use it against them?”
You say that, like it’s a bad thing.
Your handle...one of my all time favorite Simpson episodes.
We need to get rid of the Depts of Energy, Education, Commerce and HUD.. not enhance them or try and fix them..
How many billions would that save?
Rick Perry fought the EPA tooth and nail while he was governor. The energy department will have a large dose of Perry Ex-lax.
Then you just fire everyone in the Energy Department period!!!
They have a record there for crying out loud. Just go through the records...
DOE: prepared to be Rickrolled. But we’re gonna give you up and let you down!
Given the large number of contractors, you can easily slash that contracting budget. There’s 90,000-100,000 slots freed up almost overnight.
” Left in their jobs, they will do everything in their power to thwart and subvert the incoming government. Enough of their leaders need to be fired to send a clear message that they will do exactly as they are told or they will go too.”
My view is that they should all go, right down to the newest hire.
The Debt Ceiling Limit comes back soon.

This will be one of the two key issues that will help us see whether or not the swamp is really going to be drained. For starts the White House should refuse to sign off on any Debt Ceiling increase or any spending for any agency that is playing games like the Energy dept is doing. The other key issue of course is the runaway health care spending due to the widespread legalization of monopolistic practices. Failure to solve that problem means almost certain destruction of our Republic financially before Trump’s first term is over.
“As has been noted, they’re subject to Civil Service protections.”
NO, most of them are NOT. 100,000 are contractors. Only 14,000 are Federal employees.
Let them gnash their teeth in fear. Listen with glee to the lamentations of the women
“imagine what would happen the next time Dems are in control.”

We must expose them for their crimes “this time”. Send some of them to Jail. And make it legally impossible for them to ever again practice voter fraud.
Do that and more, there will be NO NEXT TIME for the ComDems.
The entire Fed Gov is riddled with BIG CRIME perps. Yes, they know it’s coming and they cannot dodge it.
The biggest fish will probably bow out immediately and try to avoid prosecution. Expose em All.
