New York should seize Trump Tower
The Washington Post ^ | 12/12/2016 | Catherine Rampell

Posted on 12/13/2016 11:09:45 AM PST by Trump20162020

Froufrou Fifth Avenue resembles a police state.

Officers wielding gigantic guns guard Trump Tower, where President-elect Donald Trump conducts all transition business, and soon lots of presidential business, too. Shoppers patronizing the stores, cafes or public gardens inside must endure layers of security screening. Streets and sidewalks are barricaded; traffic is snarled; and costumed buskers milk money from the looky-loos obstructing the entrances to Gucci and Tiffany.

The challenges of securing this 58-story building in a high-density neighborhood will, by Inauguration Day alone, drain $35 million of local taxpayer money. Who knows the additional costs to commerce and property values?

I’d like to come to NY to take the Trump Tour. See everything connected to Donald. Make a pilgrimage to Trump Tower. Have tea and brunch while basking in the glow of Donald’s great achievements.

Ah, so... one Lib realizes exactly why Trump won, without realizing it. America is tired of being overrun with people who don’t belong and people and policies that are costing us money and freedom, and generally ruining our way of life.

Trump should just declare Trump Tower a National Monument.
All those unemployed bureaucrats from DC can be rehired as maintenance workers and elevator operators.

I have a solution; Obama can move out early, Trump is President, anyway...

“Hotels, restaurants and shops within a mile of Trump are doing a full capacity business right now. Really doubtful that any of them are complaining.”

According to Shepard Smith, just now, small businessesnear Trump Tower are being DESTROYED because of all the security...

Third time today I have heard that, from three different sources, including CBS Radio News.
The newest meme?

It looks more organized than when we were visiting NYC the week-end before the election. Perhaps it's because the left thought they had it in the bag, but it was quite a show right in front of TT. Street buskers, weirdos exhorting pedestrians with megaphones, a traveling billboard parked out front with F--- Trump, etc.

Now, it almost looks serene. Drumpf! destroying the local econcomy ...

The FBI should investigate the Post. The IRS should audit the Post. The Post should shut up.

Go upstream, up the AMAZON.

That guy is a slightly taller and younger version of a cousin.

He would carry the purse as well.

wikileaks has leaked to me, and only me, the first draft of Rampell’s article.

50 shades of Trump
(excerpt)

by Cathy Rampell
special to the Washington CompPost

On a recent dark and rainy evening, I travelled by AmTrak to New York City for the first time in a long while. Upon arriving at Grand Central, I got a Lyft to the dark Tower wherein my dreamt-of rendezvous with my mysterious nemesis awaited. I felt drained as I exited and paid the $2 tip to my driver. I turned and suddenly a tall, strong, and handsome (in a dark way) manly guard stood in front of me, blocking me with his gigantic body as I nervously fumbled for my press pass. I examined his clean shaven face and dark wavy hair carefully as he watched me with his dark eyes flashing. What was wrong with me? Why was I suddenly feeling so nervous, so empty, yet so waiting to be fulfilled? Maybe it was his fiercely scary, dark and gigantic gun that seemed to be ready to spring forth from out of its slippery holster, cocked and ready to spray a shower of shiny bullets in every direction.

I had written articles and thinly covered with literary fig leaves how I hated Donald with dark passion, and yet— and yet— I felt myself attracted him, yes, even impaled by Donald’s unrelenting stare in those cheap stock Getty photos accompanying my published missives of hate/love. Oh, how my heart hoped that my secret lover noticed! And now, he has beckoned me into his dark, forbidden Tower! The same tower of naked, brutal financial power that I had written so many times about, that I had condemned with vehemence— I was about to enter with every fiber of my being vibrating to an ultimate evanescence! I felt so confused, mysteriously attracted to this same financial power! Yes, my dark secret which I had struggled to keep for so long deep within me was about to explode in ecstacy. For the truth was that I wanted to be Donald’s secret connoli! Then, he could ravish me any way he wanted (even with sauce, perhaps, or on a handkerchief with a map on it). My desire was such that Donald could and would ravish me in fifty different ways.

Suddenly I realized that I was still standing in front of the darkly handsome guard. And I felt somehow naked and violated. I shook myself out of my daydream as the guard silently waved me past the darkly lit front entrance, ignoring the hot flashing paparazzi, to the elevator that would take me up high and my interview. The thought flashed in my semi-consciousness as I entered into the elevator, my heart beating rapidly and my breathing more shallow now as the time of our interview approached... did Donald suspect my secret shrine to him? It was then that I noticed that my purse was missing... but it was too late. My finger caressed the button for floor 50, slowly, and then I felt a shock as the elevator jolted upwards, taking me along. Now I would be totally at Donald’s mercy...

I remember the JF’nK/DNC in Boston. Lots of small businesses were hurt. In fact, one restaurant across from the convention center decided to close for the duration, and put up a sign explaining why, mostly seen by the convention attendees, and was promptly set upon by Boston’s municipal hacks, at the behest of Mayor Mumbles Menino (RIP).
