This is why the democrats lost the election and they refuse to understand it. They think that the American people are as obsessed with race as they are but we really don’t care about the color of someone’s skin. What we care about are our children and grandchildren and being able to provide them with a quality of life. So it is the economy/jobs, freedom of speech and thought, property rights, and security in our homes and for our nation. We really don’t give a rats ass about all of this victimhood and identity politics but that is all they have. How about for once trying to care about all of America instead of dividing us?

We have overcome our racial sins as a country. Now blacks use the fact that they occurred as an excuse to raise hell against law enforcement. How sick is that against society.

He may be on the something: One of the legacies of slavery is this concept that people of color ought to be able to get into colleges and universities and get jobs, government contracts, loans, and other privileged for which they are obviously unqualified.

Every time I hear this nonsense, I’m reminded of a conversation I had with a student (an Army officer) from Zimbabwe who told me of the camps along the Zambezi River in Zimbabwe and Mozambique that were used by some tribes to house slaves (from other tribes) to be sold to Dutch and British slave traders, not to mention the fact that slavery - REAL slavery - is alive and thriving in modern day Africa and the Middle East.
