WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Kanye West met with President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday, after he was spotted arriving at Trump Tower in New York City, only days after the rapper first came back into the public eye following his hospitalization.
Trump spoke to reporters with West by his side, calling the rapper a "good man" and telling journalists that they have been "friends for a long time."

“Good on him for going out on a limb to support Trump, but he’ll prove to be a problematic ally.”
This behavior reminds me of the story of “the Good Samaritan.” The man crossed the road to help a stranger in need. Trump is a good man, and at the same time is able to poke a finger in the eye of his enemies.
“Rumor has it” that Kanye is the Russian plant who helped Trump “steal” the election, and Trump had him over to Trump Tower to say thanks.
He’ll also be Sec of Agriculture because it deals with plants
I wouldn’t have Kanye perform. You can’t trust him to not go out there and do something that would embarrass Trump. I’d be worried about him pulling a “Trump hates black people” moment.
Kanye is nuts. And a publicity whore. Doing something like that would make him a hero to the left and MSM.
I picture him jumping up just before the swearing in, rushing over and saying “Imma gonna left you finish, but first...”
Nah. Kanye would behave at the Inauguration.. unless he goes off his meds.
No problem. Kanye just seems a little warped and that family he married do not enhance his image.
Don’t we all have “friends” who have some odd faults?
In the video Trump says that they have been friends for a long time.
I know I have friends with faults, but I am not President elect.
When he becomes President, he will probably make “friends” with a lot of politicians and their staffs. Most of them have many, many faults. Many of them should be in prison for their crimes. Should he not make “friends” with them in order to govern?
The BEST part about Trump, as we’re finding out, surprisingly HE KNOWS EVERYONE.
