Russian Hackers and American Hacks

The CIA that misjudged Putin for years is now sure of his motives.

Updated Dec. 11, 2016 6:44 p.m. ET

Somewhere in the Kremlin Vladimir Putin must be laughing. The Russian strongman almost certainly sought to undermine public confidence in American democracy this year, and as the Obama Administration leaves town it is playing into his hands.

That’s the real story behind the weekend reports that U.S. intelligence services have concluded that Russia intervened to assist Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. The stories are attributed to “senior administration” officials who won’t go on the record but assert murky details that are impossible to verify without seeing the evidence.

Mr. Trump is denouncing the claims with his usual subtlety, but he has a point about their timing and nature. “I don’t want anyone hacking us,” Mr. Trump said on Fox News Sunday, while blaming the leaks on Democrats. “I think it’s ridiculous” and “I don’t believe it.”

See #53. This is starting to make sense....

•Julian Assange has also said, “Hillary Clinton is the only presidential candidate with corruption ties to Russia”.

I don’t think this shows the extent of Putin’s involvement as it reveals how deep Soros’ tentacles extend into US institutions.

It’s because they’re owned by globalists and pedos...

They're owned by global corporations that are -- influenced by foreign governments!

Hmmmmm....

So, it may just be that globalist media organizations want the US to go to war with Russia AND devalue Trump.

Just adding to your point and saying that foreign governments through global media corporations have been influencing are politics and elections for a long time.

The answer to this is simple: let this “unnamed official” come forward and present his evidence where it can be evaluated by all. Until he does that, I’m calling BS on this whole thing.

Of course.

Russia wanted a guy who can’t be bought by anyone, the most capitalist, most nationalist guy to come along in decades, to be POTUS.

Makes perfect sense to me!

"What is your basis that their claims are false?"

The claims should be considered false until proven true. We cannot allow "anonymous officials" of unknown political affiliation to launch vague and scurrilous charges without them coming forward and laying out their evidence. Moreover, exactly WHAT they are claiming is utterly ambiguous, and - in my opinion - this is deliberate. What does it mean when they say that Russia "influenced" the election? These animals need to come out of the shadows.

Let's think about this slippery slope the Democrats want to go down.

Russia interfered with our elections and that was unfair.

Did the US interfere with Russian parliamentary elections? Yes. Did Obama interfere with Israeli elections? Yes. Who and what should be done to them, if we want to hold Russia accountable?

Now let's look farther up the slippery slope. Many foreign leaders endorsed Hillary. Was that a form of interfering with our internal elections? Yes, But Dem’s would say it is not “hacking.”

So what did the Russians really do? Did they break into Hillary's illegal server? Did they hack the DNC emails? Did NSF hack the secure cell phone of Merkel of Germany? Where on this slippery slope is evil committed?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3491788/Clinton-says-foreign-leaders-want-endorse-stop-Donald-Trump.html

Is the issue that the Russians hacked and fed some information to the press or even worse to a non-press organization like wikileaks (even if Wikileaks says the info didn't come from Russia).

Do I believe that Russia Today wrote misleading stories to elect anyone but Hillary. Yes. Do I feel that Radio Free Europe, Voice of America has done the same thing? Yes.

Did Russia hack voting machines and change the number of votes? No.

I’m guessing that Trump deriding the CIA is related to his downplaying the need for daily briefings - the briefings he’s already attended were probably filled with low density facts and rife with blowhards wanting to blow their own horns - not the sort of self-suck fest a busy executive wants to waste time on, especially if he considers the presenters to be self-serving buffoons.

The Uranium One deal, approved by Secretary Hildebeest?

Rosatom gets 20% of US uranium reserves? Billy Jeff gets $500k for a speech in Moscow? The Clinton Foundation gets a donation of $31.3m?

How many more years would Rod Blagojevich have gotten if he had been Secretary of State instead of a crooked Illinois governor peddling a senate seat vacated by a Muslim traitor?
