President-elect Donald Trump will meet with two former GOP Primary rivals, Carly Fiorina and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, on Monday in New York City at Trump Tower, according to his transition team.
Fiorina, who briefly ran as Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) running mate during the Primary, has been a Trump critic, suggesting weeks before the election that he should “step aside” and allow his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, to head the Republican ticket after the Washington Post published audio of Trump making lewd remarks about women with Billy Bush.
“Donald Trump does not represent me or my party. I understand the responsibility of Republicans to support their nominee. Our nominee has weighty responsibilities, as well. Donald Trump has manifestly failed in these responsibilities,” Fiorina posted on Facebook at the time.
However, after Trump won the election, Fiorina took to social media to congratulate him.
“Congratulations to President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence. The American people have spoken. Time for real change that unites us and carries our nation forward,” she wrote.

Rick Santorum (some like him, some don.t) but I think he is a decent man, imho, worth consulting
Admittedly I just saw the clip and didn’t watch the whole thing but to me he owned that clip. It’s no easy task for a politician (apparently) to go to the enemies house and stand by your convictions. How did he get his head handed to him?
Trump is doing this to bring us together. I can accept that. Rick is a great guy— I wish he had a place in government.
IMO, there’s too much bad blood between Fiorina and Trump, she’s “out”, Santorum maybe.
And it’s FACE to Face.
I would still pay money to see Carly debate Hillary, because Hillary wouldn’t have known what hit her.
Anyway, I’m okay with her and Santorum being a part of the administration.
Carly gave a strong endorsement of Trump after the primaries, and Santorum joined Trump the time he skipped that Fox News debate.
I love how Trump is trying to make amends and bring as many people together to serve as he can.

Rick is a good man. He would be a great addition.

I suppose he'll put out the names of 10 possible USSC picks to give Schumer something to do....and then on the First Day he'll announce his real pick...
Carly was stupid enough to take the VP pitch from Cruz...that lasted what...3 days?? Sorry...she should have told him...too early to put out a pick...She was totally embarrassed...
Both of these two should get jobs in the admin. They are capable people and good conservatives.
I wonder if Santorum can even afford to work in government- he’s needed to work for K street to keep his family in the manner accustomed. Trump’s 5 year ban on lobbying after a job in his administration is pretty onerous to politically connected careerists in this region
Indeed. And to magnify the effect, he should meet Comey at the airport and have the meeting in Trump's private plane on the tarmac, no reporters or security detail present.

Adding to my curiousity, Pence went out of his way to publically praise her the other day at a meeting.
when the repubs were hammerin each other, Carly was hammerin Hillary. Has to be worth something....
Maybe she can keep an eye on planned parenthood.
