NBC Fears Trump’s Pick Will ‘Dismantle’ Obama’s EPA, CBS Smears(we're hopin'!)

News broke Wednesday that President-Elect Donald Trump had selected Oklahoma Attorney General, and active opponent to the Environmental Protection Agency, Scott Pruitt to lead that very same organization. Word of Trump’s latest pick sent liberal environmental groups into a panic along with networks CBS and NBC. “The president-elect filled more administration posts today, putting a global warming sceptic in charge of protecting the environment,” announced anchor Scott Pelley on CBS Evening News.

CBS’s Nancy Cordes bemoaned Trump’s climate change switcheroo from earlier in the week. “Al Gore's meeting with Mr. Trump the other day gave environmentalists hope, but that hope evaporated today when Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt was tapped to head the environmental protection agency,” she whined.

Time is long overdue to shutdown useless government departments and agencies, fire their staffs (no rehiring by other government agencies or departments).
To go away list: EPA, Dept of Education, Commerce, Agriculture, Surgeon General.
These are for starters.
Default: if you cannot kill the useless department or agency, (1) cut all by a 25% reduction in force and (2) give them something useful to do like a complete cost-benefit review of all regulations with a minimum reduction of 50 percent of standing regs.
During the review process, NO new rules or regulations will be permitted. After the review is over, new rules or regs will be issued with a 5 year sunset provision that requires congressional approval and president's signature to implement for another 5 years.

So CBS wants the EPA to continue to:

1. Make arbitrary rules.
2. Violate said rules.
3. Take no responsibility.

That’s why they are marginalized.

While not an early supporter, Trump has hit the ground running and talking with all for input. That's what a true leader does.

Get the opinions of all and then make a firm decision that is best for America. He is giving me hope every day by his current actions and Cabinet appointments. This inarticulate man has done more to enhance the standing of the USA than 8 years of Obama's bowing to international leaders and weak domestic policies.

The World is looking at him. Our enemies are scared (see Iran's and China's rhetoric). Our Allies are re-assured. He has already save 1000's of jobs and will continue. The liberals think this is regression. I'm good with that term and even regale in it, if it means going back to what made this Country great and the envy of the World, which has been copied numerous times.

I want all EPA employees fired and banned from future public employment. We need sound, reasonable environmental protection. The EPA cannot deliver this. They are effectively an anti-capitalist entity.

I think a major downsizing of the epa is more likely than an elimination. I am all for elimination, but don’t see it happening, although I remain hopeful that trump will prove me wrong.

CNN was just running a “Story” comparing Trump’s plans for Dealing with Muzzies to Japanese Internment Camps.
