Two senators said Wednesday they are "encouraged" by President-elect Donald Trump's pledge to reach a deal on some undocumented immigrants.
“We’re encouraged by these comments by President-elect Trump — they present an opportunity to do the right thing for more than 744,000 young people who grew up here," Sens. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said in a joint statement.
Trump told Time magazine that his administration would "work something out" for undocumented immigrants who were brought to the country as children.
"They got brought here at a very young age," the real estate mogul said. "And they’re in never-never land because they don’t know what’s going to happen.”

Work something out.......not able to vote until become legal is one thing. stop giving illegas freebies..they will self deport.

Trumps emotion-based utterances on rewarding illegals is very worrisome.

If we relent on the children of illegal aliens, next they will be crying that we can’t deport the parents, or the cousins, or the uncles, or the grandparents, or the nieces, or the nephews, or the..........
If Trump does not noticeably reduce third world migration into our homeland he will be a one-term President.

Also, NEVER able to sponsor anyone for immigration, regardless of status. This would help curtail chain migration.

I think he knows that this is the most singular issue out there. George Bush never did. He never looked at the problem, just ignored it. Obama...? Yeah right. We realize you can’t deal with all aspects of a problem that started with the Ted Kennedy years immediately. You have a concerted attempt on the part of some mayors in this country to offer a safe haven to criminals. That must stop, and I hope to God, that Trump draws the line and puts a stop to these sancturary cities AND HIDING THE CRIMINALS FROM THE FEDS.
Then won’t stop with Dreamers. They’ll then say the adults can’t be deported, because either the children won’t have parents here or they’ll have to go back to South or Central America with their parents.
