It is only a ‘theory’ until it is proved otherwise.
And the emails uncovered proved it was based on scientific HOAX.
As a scientist, there are different levels of bad.
1) looking at data and making incorrect assessment. THIS IS NORMAL And EXPECTED and it is why you have peer-review. Everyone can make a mistake. You can fix it and learn something.
2) Ignoring data that does not fit your pre-defined notions or desired conclusions. This is scientific fraud, and you should be fired for it. But other people can see the entire data set and fix it.
3) Deleting data that does not fit the theory that you want.
This is horrifying- because you cannot fix it. The data is gone. Your results are incorrect, but you deleted any data that did not agree, in order to make it look correct.
This forces people to act on incorrect data, spending billions of dollars, on false claims. Doing the opposite of what needs to be done. This should result in jail time.
The scientists that perpetrated the Global Warming (now in new and improved “climate change”) deleted data that did not fit the theory they wanted. And they corrupted the data that they DID have to exxagerate results (the ‘hockey stick’ graph.)
Given one of the founders of the Weather Channel has basically said the same thing... I think I’ll not worry about what the Weather Channel which makes money off promoting this thing has to say...
Fake science. Fake weather. Flake propaganda.

While he can’t clean house at The Weather Channel, I hope he does at NASA. The original Space Race vs. the USSR was real and had some military implications to it while the race to colonize Mars seems to be based on the human race’s failure to “save the planet” and to save ourselves from ourselves. A manned mission to Mars shouldn’t need to have a false pretense for supporting it’s overall justification and feasibility. Climate change is just something to observe and monitor because it’s more interesting than it is a global crisis. It will happen no matter what we do here on this planet. When we go to Mars, we should be going simply because it is there. If we were to go under false pretenses, it would forever be on the wrong side of history.
What is a “reputable climate researcher”, anyway?
I just go to weather.gov every morning with my zip code to get the 7 day forecast. They are very accurate for at least the next 48 hours.
I think that all of the commercial outlets get their raw data from there.
It is actually a good use of tax dollars because the infrastructure of NOAA (buoys, satellites, etc.) generates raw data from all over the world and would be very expensive for a commercial organization to replicate.
Just my opinion.

It would be nice to know if any other planets orbiting a star also have temperature changes. Cause we didn’t do that. We already know the Dinos weren’t burning fossil fuels. Wonder if they blamed their climate changes on each other too...

Climate "Science" is incapable of predicting the future.
The weather channel was started by John Coleman who was a meteorologist popular in Chicago in the 1970’s....he does not believe in global warming but he sold the company eons ago...it was an idea whose time has come and like the dinosaur that it is...perhaps its its time to go.
Let me put it this way for you folks at weather channel.
In the beginning GOD created...the Bible from very first verse until the end in the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ is THEOPOMORPHIC...based on God being the center AND the Creator and sustainer.
Mankind by his nature to be in rebellion is ANTHROPOMORPHIC...giving man the puffed up importance of being at the center an in control.
That being said the SUN and other factors control climate on earth...not farting dairy cows in calif.
If you don’t get that weather channel one day you will be buried under a pile of your own created poo and we will have moved on

The weather channel? You mean the “SCIENTISTS” who can’t accurately predict the next hour’s weather?
You mean the “SCIENTISTS” who couldn’t decide between global warming and global cooling, so they had to change the meme to “climate change”?
You mean the “SCIENTISTS” who conflate “man made” climate change with plain old “climate change” because “climate change” is REAL and “man made” climate change ISN’T.
The global climate has ALWAYS been changing and it will ALWAYS continue to change, BUT MAN HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!

I actually prefer the local weather channel on cable TV.
Sorry, but The Weather Channel is owned by Comcast, along with CNBC, MSNBC and all the other NBC properties, plus Bravo, E!, USA, SyFy, Telemundo, Golf Channel, Universal Studios, Universal Pictures, Dreamworks Animation, Fandango and the Philadelphia Flyers.
