No I think (all) Wranglers are 4wd.
Every one.
Answer D: All of the Above
As a comparison, I just sold a Hyundai with 102,000 hard-driven miles on it.
Total maintenance:
3 batteries
2 sets brakes
LOF every 15,000
and a damn right headlight that blew out 2 times.
That plus gas was all.
Bought my wife a used Ford Freestyle several years ago. Hasn’t been in the shop one day.
_____________
Yeah, but do I have to take all those people home too? I just got rid of the children.
My friends, just last night, says stay away from Jeep. Serious reliability problems.

Do they take their jeeps offroading a lot?
No I think (all) Wranglers are 4wd.
But I was speaking about ALL jeeps.
Just illustrating that it’s a three-row compact SUV. Very rare nowadays. The model that followed is called the Taurus X with a more powerful motor.
Well that changes things a large amount.
But all (Wranglers) are 4wd. You can of course drive them in 2wd, which improved the gas mileage.
:D
I hope this was helpful.
Good luck (and it is pretty cool waving at other Wrangler/CJ owners).
______________
Thank you very much, sounds like you enjoy it.
A Golf Diesel will, however, probably seem extraordinarily luxurious compared to a Jeep Wrangler.
_______________
A Golf Diesel six speed is like putting on a shoe and skating through gravel. It is worse with the studded snow tires on.
34,100 in my zip code.
That is the number I am seeing for two year olds with under 30K
This is not to say that the Rubicon is not suited for the highway; I'm about to take mine on it's third annual trip from Louisiana to PA for the holidays. Is it the most comfortable ride in the world? Nope, but if I did not use it the way I do throughout the rest of the year here, and didn't need the capabilities of the Rubicon, the sport or Sahara would certainly be the better option (and both are certainly fully capable off roaders in their own right).
If you are looking at a family SUV, with some off-road capabilities and are more of a tech oriented person, take a look at the Cherokee in the trailhawk edition. I prefer a standard transmission which is only available in the Wrangler, but the trailhawk Cherokee has some amazing tech features that seem pretty interesting.
My husband probably has more that 30k in after market on his wrangler. We’ve been on some great and scary trails without a hitch. Well, maybe a “wobble” on occasion, but that’s why we trailer it.
But my 4-door 4wd Cherokee is my baby. Never been off road with her. She has a 3” suspension lift and looks mighty fine. At 16 years old, I still get offers of 10k for her. Never had a bit of mechanical trouble until last year, but heck, she’s 16! A few hoses are gonna get dry.
If you like the way you feel when you test drive it, go for it! They arent for everybody, but they sure can be a lot of fun!

Thank you!
I own the WJ version. V8. After I got this Jeep, I never even want to go down to the faggy 4 cylinder types.
_____________
Wow, I am not that butch, I was settling for a 6 cylinder.
I would not buy a Jeep nor most American brands and I cannot recommend it to someone who may bet their life on its reliability. Living in Arizona a drive in the desert can become a life or death situation with a low quality vehicle and Jeep/GM vehicle is just...crap. Honda, Toyota or Nissan...
But all (Wranglers) are 4wd. You can of course drive them in 2wd, which improved the gas mileage
As I said, I was speaking about all jeeps :)
Just do it already. Stop shopping around for a cheap one. The only thing that happens is the good ones will keep getting bought out from under you.
I’ve had several. Not the JK though which is what you’re looking at. YJ, TJ and LJ. Loved them all. I’d have a newer unlimited, but I’m too old for them.
The Jeep is a Chrysler product. Need I say more?
Get a Subaru Outback ... youll be happy for many years to some.
My opinion for what its worth.

have you seen the 17 Subes lately. They have been EPA’d and have little durability. I read recently to not expect the new crop of the reliables to be as good as their predecessors, and boy were they correct.
My plan is to get a jeep, drive it until Trump dismantles the EPA and then buy a decent new car.
The wrangler, including Sahara, is a rough driving vehicle - built for off road.
__________
Well, I live a bit off road.
