Many things have been happening in this “transition period” that point to one grim fact: Trump hasn’t sworn into office as president yet. As a matter of fact, things are happening that may very well derail that inauguration. There’s an old Irish expression: “There’s many a slip ‘twixt the cup and the lip,” and there’s quite a few slippery deeds in the works in particular that bear mentioning. January 20, 2017 is still a long way off, and Obama isn’t done just yet.
From an international perspective, something very heinous happened in the dead of night just a little more than a week ago. The House of Representatives passed a resolution, H.R. 5732, in a special session that included the suspension of normal rules. Suspensions are characteristically used for bills that are not controversial. H.R. 5732 is as controversial as they come: it holds the Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act of 2016, with Sec. 303 holding the provision for the establishment of a no-fly zone over Syria.
The H.R. was introduced by Eliot Engel of New York (how surprising), and not only does the no-fly zone apply to Syrian planes in their own airspace, but also raises the prospect of engagements between U.S. and Russian aircraft. Trump’s “reset” with Russia doesn’t occur until January 20, and there’s still a lot of time in between now and then.
Also, Jill Stein is challenging the election results in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Isn’t it a coincidence that the three states are “swing” states that could (if reversed) help to affect a reversal of the whole thing? Isn’t it also a coincidence that Hillary Clinton is “for” ....

They don't care where the information comes from, as long as it's "attention" grabbing.
I've even seen "news" posted that has as its source college bulletins. Ridiculous. The worst is the constant "vanity" as news.

Never in the history of the Republican party has there been such a bigger voting base as was this time in the history of voting...the libs are beside themselves because their candidate was a crook, a liar, a thief, who sold our secrets to China for their own pocket, who sold our uranium to Russia for their own pocket, and consorts with a very evil man (Soros) and someone named John Podesta, and a Robby Mook, and a David something or other that is known to be involved in heaven knows what...
They put this formaldehyde witch up for their candidate and there wasn't one of them that didn't know what she was, so take your lumps and swallow them, you did it, you caused it, you covered it up, so you take the blame!!!
Trump is not stopping naming his cabinet, he is the President Elect of the United States of America and that is all there is to it...

Thanks! It’s not easy being an “OMG, what if” type but you’ve calmed the waters for now. I guess I’m kind of that way because they keep coming up with “found” votes and it’s a scary reminder of previous elections.

Thanks LS. I’ll admit to having a small concern here. We know how corrupt things are, so I never rule anything out these days.
I do tend to agree with the Trump folks at about the 99% level. I will still have concern until Trump is inaugurated.

I lost any expectation that the general public will flex its muscles after the Elian Gonzales atrocity.
Zero Hedge has become pretty much worthless.
I used to have them bookmarked but got suspicious after some of the articles seemed very Globalist. Looked at the sum of articles that day & yanked the bookmark. Still sometimes a useful article but with a grain of salt.

I think one of the reasons people get so concerned about the tweets is it is sort of a way around the press. He doesn’t have to rely upon, uh, rely upon — this is the modern era, modern technology. He’s at the point where we don’t need you guys anymore.
