House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi is calling the decision to tap Ben Carson as head of Housing and Urban Development a “disconcerting and disturbingly unqualified choice.”

Pelosi says the country deserves someone with “relevant experience” to protect the rights of homeowners and renters.

In her statement released Monday, she says “there is no evidence that Dr. Carson brings the necessary credentials to hold a position with such immense responsibilities and impact on families and communities across America.”

She has been a cross between schemer and glad-hander all her life, and could not even quote statistics on what benefit she has brought to ANY aspect of life for anyone outside a very small circle. There is not even very much intellectual endowment there.

Not that Pelosi is any judge of who is qualified and who is not, but Carson's spokesman was saying that Carson himself did not think he was suitable for a cabinet post because he had no government experience and had never run an agency, and that was only a couple of weeks ago. Don't think the Democrats won't bring that up time and time again during the confirmation hearings. Link

Does Nancy have the credentials to lead the Democratic Party?

She does.

1. She's been a pig with both front trotters in the taxpayer funded trough since she was a child. Her father was mayor of Baltimore and she was chauffeured around in a taxpayer funded limo since she was little.

3. She has the strong Democrat ability to ignore any reality that conflicts with her liberal worldviews (ie most of reality)

6. Her response to any liberal initiative that that doesn't work as intended (or at least do what the stated intention wa) is to double down

Ben Carson won the Presidential Medal Of Honor, the MEDAL OF FREEDOM, the Ronald McDonald House Charities Award of Excellence and others for his work helping underprivileged kids.

I’d say he is much more than qualified, or should at least be given a chance.
