Green Party switches strategy in Pennsylvania recount bid

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — A Green Party-backed campaign changed its strategy to force a statewide recount of Pennsylvania's Nov. 8 presidential election, won by Republican Donald Trump, and said late Saturday night that it will seek help in the federal courts, rather than the state courts.

The announcement that it would seek an emergency federal court order on Monday for a recount came hours after it dropped a case in the state courts.

"Make no mistake — the Stein campaign will continue to fight for a statewide recount in Pennsylvania," recount campaign lawyer Jonathan Abady said in a statement issued around 11:30 p.m. "We are committed to this fight to protect the civil and voting rights of all Americans."

S candidate for District 15 in Nevada has already come forth ON TV in Las Vegas with 8200 Returned sample ballots from people who registered & didn’t give correct information. This is the same county where the entire Dallas Cowboys football team was registered to vote 4 years ago. Mickey & Minnie Mouse—Donald Duck & many entertainers are also on the voter rolls there. Waylon Jennings died in Ariz many years ago & he is shown as a registered Las Vegas/Clark County voter.

The rigged elections have been going on for a long time. I was raised just north of Chicago. It was a running joke after every election to ask “How many dead people voted for Mayor Daley” (the elder)??? School was out every election year on election day & the school buses were used to transport voters from precinct to precinct to vote. They would go to the head of the line—get ballots—vote—and never sign any book. Then get back into the bus to go & do it again. This would go on for 12 hours. They all got paid to do this & it was a complete running joke.

There is voter fraud in America & it has to be cleaned up. Please do not blame this sore loser behavior on Trump-—altho I am pretty sure this will stir Trump & others to clean up the voter rolls in all 3144 counties in the USA. Voter ID will be implemented, also, IMO.

Let me know if you have anything to add to my thoughts. Anyone is welcome to spread this plan around. We need more people to understand how the voter rolls CAN be fixed.

“More than a few of their fellow mental cases are on the federal bench”

It’s true. I rarely see a federal court case these days over a political issue that I feel was fairly judged. Jill and her ilk are aware of that, I’m sure.

She doesn't have standing, and indeed, a very small smattering of counties being contested is a reflection of that fact.

In PA, a "recount" can only be triggered by a <0.5% margin, ordered by the Secretary of State. These are not "recounts." These are "contested results" which, under the PA Constitution are only granted under two types of petition.

In the statewide contested election, any candidate has standing, and must establish a prima facie case in the presentation of the petition to either of two of PA's government oversight courts: The Commonwealth Court, or the PA Supreme Court. That contest is the one she withdrew from yesterday.

In the second type of contest, a candidate has no standing. Only voters have standing. An election may be contested at the district level (what folks in other jurisdictions call a precinct) by the presentation of a petition signed by three eligible voters from within the district to the district election board. Stein/Clinton/Soros initiated that process in selected districts some days ago.

One enduring mystery to me is: why did a petitioner who intended to argue a statewide case send out several dozen flunkies to petition local election boards at all? There are 9163 districts in PA. They surely could not have believed they could find 27,489 eligible petitioners ...

My guess is they actually never intended to file the statewide petition. It was just part of the grift. (As is this baloney about filing in Federal court.)

If it goes to the Supreme Court, two of the current liberals already are joined to an earlier decision in Bush v. Gore that state legislatures have plenary power to appoint the electors. Those two liberals aren't going to overturn their own decisions. It will be 6-4. (And it isn't even going to go there.)

The fraud is not in the counting. The fraud is easy and voter id will fix most of it. They are just recounting all the fraud and legit votes. And it looks like there are some tally mistakes. i did an analysis in the 1st congressional district in philly when they actually tallied the votes on paper. I did data entry of the paper and let the spreadsheet add everything up. and there were discrepancies in the totals but + or - it didn’t matter.
