At 46 Years, EPA Will See HUGE Changes Under Trump

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) began operating 46 years ago after former President Richard Nixon proposed it as a way to address mounting pollution concerns across the country.

EPA celebrated its 46th anniversary Friday, just weeks before President-elect Donald Trump likely takes the agency in a totally different direction compared to the last eight years under President Barack Obama, focusing on clean air and quality instead of global warming.

Not only is Trump looking to roll back Obama-era regulations, the incoming administration reportedly has plans to fundamentally reform major decades-old environmental laws: The Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act.

No doubt, Trump will work to repeal the “waters of the United States” rule and the Clean Power Plan rule for power plants. But his handlers suggested the new administration would work with Congress to pursue major legislative changes to stop regulatory overreach.

“Standing armies... buh-bye.”

Right on! I wonder if Bud’s Discount Guns website will be selling all of the EPA’s weapons on a special procurement sale.

Corn is fungible. It will be grown and sold at the highest offered price be that for ethanol or cattle or chicken or dog food or export.

When the market and the price declines the farmers will quit planting wall to wall corn.

So long as there is big America, both government and Agriculture will be “big”

And stupid Nixon created the EPA, NPR, PBS, and the 55 mile an hour speed limit, and he still wasn’t a big enough liberal to the Dems, so they chased him out.

I hope he hits them so hard and on so many fronts that they can’t even manufacture enough outrage for it all. Like they did to us. At the end of the day, we won.

Fuel companies were coerced to buy from big farming. It’s all about voluntary exchange vs. government mandates. Kill big government and big farming will follow.

"Abolish the EPA now!!!"

Although it is arguably a good idea, the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for environmental protection purposes.

And even if the states had constitutionally delegated such powers to the feds, it remains that the corrupt, post-17th Amendment Congress is unconstitutionally letting non-elected bureaucrats get away with harrassing the sovereign states with such powers, stolen state powers in this case.

The huge change should be its elimination.

The shadow government needs to be reined in completely and Congress needs to start doing their damned jobs.

“Delete Big Farming/Government Corn while you’re at it. No more ethanol fuels for Motor vehicles.”

Meh, if equal access to consumers were available for all energy producers an RFS would not be necessary. And be aware it was corn producing states that helped put Trump in the WH.

Once Donald Trump becomes President of the United States, I may have to start watching the fifth-column leftist media evening news again to see when one of them goes into total vapor lock while reporting on what President Trump did, especially in barbecuing some leftist ‘sacred cow.’

My vapor lock money is on Andrea or Lester. Maybe Martha and Scott will just have an on-air nervous breakdown, mumbling away as they’re dragged off the set.

“I’m old enough to remember when my elders were saying don’t create an EPA, it will turn into a monster.”

Same with OSHA. And Homeland Security. Not many federal agencies other than the DoD are necessary at all.

When the EPA is stripped of it's brown-shirt status, I anticipate the transfer of 200,000,000 rounds of ammo back to the market sector will result in 5-cent 9mm, 7.62mm and .223...

That's about the 1995-1997 price when I created my lifetime inventory...
