I watched the interview. The Newsweak guy looks like some marginalized manager with no real grasp of journalism or the value of a brand-name. If I were the owner of the magazine....I’d go looking for some new manager.
Exactly! How irresponsible of the magazine. What a joke they have turned in to.
....and they wonder why it sold for a dollar....
Witness what happens to propagandists who actually have come to believe their own propaganda.
Paradigm shift happened in the 2016 election.
But Newsweek? They are shiftless.
And irrelevant.
A waste of newsprint even in the urban areas where liberal fascism was born, and it now dies thrashing in the dustbin of history, infested with blow flies, and maggots.Dinosaurs who do not realize that they have been handed the Darwin Award.
No American will even use this indoctrination rag as emergency ass-wipe.
Goodbye Political Correctness.
Freedom again reigns in America.
Pretty sure the owner is Jane Harmon’s Billionaire husband.
DON'T KID YOURSELF, THEY READ EVERY PAGE AND THEY SENT IT TO NEWSSTANDS BECAUSE THEY APPROVED OF EVERY PAGE.
They sent it out so it would be there first thing in the morning. That's the bottom line. Tucker knows it too but he let him squirm out of it with a wink and a nod. There's so much for them to be embarrassed about it's almost criminal. LOL Tucker only scratched the surface. They could have done a whole hour on this and it wouldn't have gotten old. I was almost embarrassed for the guy myself and I hate the MS press.
FYI (I Also posted this over at the youtube comments)
Yeah what you said..
LIKE
Actually: that guy had just the right amount of deprecation and apparent-or-real humility to get through the interview without making the situation even worse.
He was a good choice: probably the first good choice that Newsweek have made in decades.
Nobody believed that guy when he said nobody at Newsweek proofread the copy before publishing in. He’s a terrible liar and could take some lessons from the Clintons.
Yesterday he interviewed a woman (pretty sure it was a woman) from, I believe, the NY Times about their shoddy and one-sided reporting. Another good interview.
I’d love him for Press Secretary, but I figure he’s got a good gig right now and wouldn’t want to leave it.
I really expected Tucker to lower the boom on the guy any second. There was so much low hanging fruit in his lame ass excuse, but Tuck let him off the hook.
Every page of that issue is hilarious... And that cover? OMG too funny!
Wait a minute.... Are YOU that guy?
That fatass is not to be believed about anything. Newsweek owns this 100% including sending out their Madam President ahead of time. Newsweek should be out of business.
Fake news.
I think I figured out who this guy is...
Wouldn’t this come under the much dreaded “fake news” label? Does anyone really believe that Newsweak sent this out without actually reading it first? Matter of fact, whenever the issue of “fake news” is brought up, this could be one of the prime examples that all of us should mention, along with the NYT reporting on Trump’s women problem where they deliberately distorted what people actually said. Let’s not forget all the “fake polls” which were turned into “fake news”.
According to this guy, the editors at Newsweek took the Nancy Pelosi approach in distributing this issue - “You have to read it to find out what’s in it.”
And the poor $1 purchaser has Buyer's Remorse.
...”Exactly! How irresponsible of the magazine. What a joke they have turned in to.”...
I saw that interview. Tucker Carlson is really great in his new job. I predict that he is going to rival O’Reilly before long and I expect he will be the new FOX media star. Hannity is like the “blue collar, country boy” very smart and honest media star and Tucker is the Ivy-League variety of the same. Don’t know if he is truly Ivy League but he is the super smart, urban guy who is not afraid of the Left, and can play with them all day long in a very fair way which lets the viewer knows the score when he is through. I am already addicted to Tucker.
