.
To me it is only right for us to support a freely elected government that is friendly to us.
Thank you for that post...that was a trip down memory lane...thank you so much... ;0)
No, I had forgotten that fact. You are correct. LOL only due to Jerry Seinfeld is it remembered that Myanmar was once Burma; and the Four Lads - that it’s Istanbul not Constantinople.
When younger, I loved to watch the HGT LOL when first seen thought they were a regular basketball team - then to actually see them play ball. :-)
Not much of a basketball fan. Only an audience member on court at a few high school games. Football held my interest, and now it is fading as well. Never appreciated soccer or golf. Enjoyed tennis once it was known how they score the game. Sports and balls, how fitting :-O
Perhaps all citizens can learn from DJT as he is attempting to rally us round in teaching how it’s done. Was very impressed with him when he announced during his Indiana address that we were expected to be standing there with him in order to once again set this nation on the proper path.
Only in working together will this be accomplished.
President Trump: "Hello, Taiwan? I want girls. Busloads/trainloads of your girls imported!"
President Tsai Ing-wen:: "Girls? I first female Plesidant of Taiwan. I send you girls. Bus roads! Here, I text you picture:"
Trump: "Nice. Send them over and I'll send you missiles, money, and Carrier Air conditioners instead of that Chinese Crap. It'll be great."
Tsai Ing-wen: "Tank you for da helmet Plesident Trump! Chinese very crose to us. We will win with your weapons! We send you more girls! Here rookie here:
Taiwanese girls: "HIIIIII DONNNNNNALLLD!
Trump: "Why, hello Taiwan. We are going to win so much, you'll get tired of winning!
” How ya’ goin to keep them down on the farm after they’ve got Daisey Maes” bert
The reality is here

....but perhaps we should get into the top 10 first.
Nicely done DCBryan1!!!!!!!
I'm from Georgia where the Super Bowl is of more importance than Religious Freedom to our leaders. Pure blackmail.
I am proud to say that I was an early supporter of Trump. I remember when Trump announced his historic candidacy and the media pulled what I refer to as the "Blue Horseshoe Loves Anacot Steel" maneuver to dispense with him quickly and the resultant boycotts of his ties and clothing line, and the PGA canceling the Grand Slam of Golf event because it was to be held on a Trump property, etc.; and Trump did not bow under the PC pressure one whit. I knew then his boldness stood a chance to take all the marbles.
Why are you posting this crap? You don’t like Trump? You think he is another ‘Clinton’ or something? This is totally disgusting!!!
Bad idea, and a major misstep.
China will view this as a direct confrontation, and an attack.
No. I don't. I LOVE HIM.
This is totally disgusting!!!
No it's not. It's beautiful, just like the Trump family and hot Taiwanese girls, but this is just for you...more yumminess:
Agreed. It's sad to see so much damage from the creeping socialism.
My thoughts exactly, your #71
LOL that reminds me of the time I was buying hiking socks and a sales clerk wouldn’t leave me alone...he wanted to know where I was going hiking and I said “Burma! You may know it as Myanmar, but it will always be Burma to me!” All I got was a blank stare.
Ronald Reagan with poor effective speaking skills and an orange hairdo.
LOL
Burma reminds me: from the days of old, remembering those signs down the highway. A short section of pavement which always ended with the sign painted “BURMA SHAVE”.
Just because geography might have been taught years ago (for many of us) it is of little help today.
And I know Istanbul (not Constantinople) from They Might Be Giants instead of the Four Lads. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vsQrKZcYtqg
Thank you for the link. When ‘They Might Be Giants’ was seen, first thought you referred to the 1971 movie starring Joanne Woodward and George C. Scott.

Your group had a lot more bounce and personality than the original done by the Lads.

After following recording artists for years, in the 80’s the music had lost its luster and interest (rap music, that bane of society!). Now finding there are a number of groups that are worthy of their wax/vinyl. Gimme that old time rock n roll.
