It’s kind of difficult to get anything through the Congress without the Speaker and Majority Leader on board. Personally, I don’t think it really matters who is advising Ryan and/or McConnell, President Trump will be driving the train on any policy be it immigration, economics, court picks or defense policy. The professional politicians, the establishment scum like Ryan and McConnell know that their future political lives depend upon Donald Trump and his army of Les Deplorables and whomever else jumps aboard the Trump train as his policies become clearer and more popular.

Coulter is exasperating - even when she’s right. In this case she seems to be reacting to an offhand remark by Pence. Who in the hell does she or Kaus THINK the administration is going to work with to get legislation passed? Pelosi?
Uhmmm...Paul Ryan is Speaker of the House. We don’t like it, but it’s a fact. Pence works for the executive branch. They have to work together. It’s the way that Trump will get legislation passed.

IIRC though...Conway ran one of the Cruz super-PACs before going to work for Trump, which means she was working for the Mercers rather than Cruz.

Her tweet was in response to one by Mickey Kraus who said he got nervous when he heard Mike Pence say in an interview that he and Paul Ryan were working very hard on immigration.
Seems to me Ann takes this as sign of an impending sell out.
I don’t see it that way, and and don’t know why Ann is doing so either. The libs are really raking her over the coals—telling her she is a fool for believing in Trump, etc.
I think her pearl clutching is a bit premature. Hell, just YESTERDAY at his speech in Cleveland the President-Elect reiterated his dedication to building the wall.
