4 employees at VA facility resign, charges being considered.
Four employees at an Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs facility have resigned after a resident with a maggot-infested wound died while under their care.
Vietnam veteran Owen Reese Peterson, 73, initially came to the Talihina Veterans Center with an infection, but ended up with sepsis and died on Oct. 3.

It appears that WND has this story wrong somehow. The VA does not control state veterans facilities, as far as I know. Just sayin’

They need to round up these chickenshits and prosecute them for manslaughter!
I’ve said it a few times since Election Day and I’ll say it again.
After taking office, Trump needs to call a meeting (at the White House) of ever VA District manager and VA Hospital manager. it needs to be one of these “Come To Jesus” meetings. Trump will chair the meeting, not the head of Veterans Affairs.
The word must get out immediately that conditions WILL improve immediately or in short hellfire will come down on all of their heads - job loss, lawsuits against the employees BY the govt, etc.
Besides being the right thing to do, Trump will score positive political points with the public by showing him standing up for the veterans.
ALL of these criminal a$$holes need to be gone by the first of February!
Unfortunately, VA facilities can be little fifedoms ruled by the lowest common denominator, and protected by civil service rules. If you get on their PITA list, your are toast. In some places, the PITA list qualifiers includes expecting competetant care. Memory eternal for this guy.
Wouldn’t these people be criminally liable for the man’s death thru negligence?.................

Yes, I have. That is why I vowed never to go to one and I fought tooth and toenail to prevent my now deceased wife from being placed in one her last few weeks on this earth.
My Dad went to a veteran’s facility and it was the VA.
I don’t understand why anyone would go to a VA hospital for anything.
There are plenty of hospitals that would have treated them regardless of their ability to pay.
