Trump Team Moves To Block Pennsylvania Recount

Attorneys for President-elect Donald Trump have moved to block the vote recount in Pennsylvania, adding to complaints filed to stop similar proceedings in Michigan and Wisconsin.

“Despite being no more than a blip on the electoral radar, Stein has now commandeered Pennsylvania’s electoral process, with an eye toward doing the same to the Electoral College,” the complaint filed Thursday states.

“There is no evidence — or even an allegation — that any tampering with Pennsylvania’s voting systems actually occurred.”

The filing comes on the heels of the Trump camp’s complaint reported earlier Thursday in Michigan dismissing Green Party candidate Jill Stein’s claims of impropriety during the 2016 presidential race, and a day after the the Wisconsin Republican Party logged a complaint with the Federal Election Committee arguing that Stein was seeking to benefit Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton.

Stein rejected the president-elect’s efforts as “outrageous” Thursday. “The recount in Michigan, which has been driven by an outpouring of grassroots support in the state — will go forward,” she said in a statement.

“The Michigan Board of State Canvassers and Director of Elections has been a model of professionalism in moving this recount forward in an efficient, transparent manner. Yet the Trump campaign’s cynical efforts to delay the recount and create unnecessary costs for taxpayers are shameful and outrageous.”

If the “faithless electors” vote for another Republican then the Republican s that voted Paul Ryan in. The two seemingly separate things might be related and choreographed to come together so that there is another alternative to Trump that the House can agree on. Frankly I think Trump sees this possibility and is ramping up his campaign again because of it.

Yes, it’s all about what gets accepted in January. Trump’s electors should meet, cast their votes, and submit them as if nothing is wrong.

I guess I was thinking of the large city centers, like Philly.

On another note, there were pics posted on leftist websites of an Amish buggy with a Hillary campaign sign on the back, purportedly claiming that the Amish supported Hillary. I know for a fact that the Amish are completely uninvolved, by their cultural mandates, in any worldly political system, so this was either photoshopped or some knucklehead gentile put the sign on the buggy when the Amish weren’t looking.

If there’s a willingness to engage in such a dramatic rejection of past precedents, there’s no need for the Uniparty to mess with lowly electors. There’s an easier route:

The Republican Congress can just reject enough electors to allow themselves to choose the president, then avoid a decisive vote in Congress, thus allowing the Speaker of the House to become president.

Being killed by a meteorite while reading this is more likely than any of the conspiracy scenarios being talked about.

I tend to follow the money. When I first read about the recounts they made no sense. Then when I read about a second event -faithless electors, they didn’t make sense. However, when you combine the two there is a possibility of overturning the election albeit small. The two impossible events can combine to create at least a possibility. Then there’s the money she raised.

Here’s a challenge: We (Trump) agree to a revote NATIONWIDE but no illegals or dead people voting. Any fraud and the candidate with the fraud loses ALL the votes.

I totally agree that this is the scenario that brings together all of the pieces we are seeing. Lack of 270 sends it to the house, faithless electors select a "compromise Republican" candidate and to put him into contention, and rhinos combine with democrats to deny Trump the presidency.

Yeah, right. That'll all happen as soon as the civil war is over.

I'm reading some of the most outlandish tinfoil hat delusions here lately. Get a grip...

I totally agree that this is highly unlikely. But everyone keeps asking what is the endgame of all of these seemingly pointless machinations. This theory at least ties it all together.

“But she’s ready to run in 2020.”

Giving rise to a new term - gurney politics. First candidate to campaign from a gurney.

I would like to see Trump challenge Los Angeles & San Diego counties-—and demand that EVERY REGISTRATION be compared to citizenship records.

I want this started on Jan 22, 2017.

For once & for all, I want the voter fraud ended. Then I want to see Georgie Stephanopolous have to report the findings in person on ABC.

But she’s ready to run in 2020. I'll be surprised if she's alive in 2020.

Drinking herself to early death!!

“She is weepy, looks ten years older and is very whiny,” said one of Hillary’s closest friends. “She has been drinking wine pretty heavily, much more than usual. She mopes around all day, swimming in a sea of recriminations and complaining that her campaign managers were ‘incompetent,’ Bill and Chelsea ‘didn’t work hard enough,’ FBI Director Comey was ‘in league with Trump.’”

She said she’s running. You’re right, she can barely walk. But all her staged photo’s, meeting people on walks in the woods with Slick, or in a bookstore, are all for that purpose.

Looks like they are finally fighting back in MI and PA. The MI AG suing may stop the whole recount in MI from even happening, citing both massive costs to taxpayers for a frivolous claim and also that Stein cannot claim she was harmed by fraud or error as MI recount law requires for a recount like Steins to be approved!

I also read someplace that Stein may not have even signed to recount petition in MI. It should be thrown out for that alone and cannot be legally be refined as the deadline passed Wednesday!

She said she’s running.

I haven't heard her say she is running, but some of her cronies have suggested she will. Makes sense if they want to keep cash flowing into the foundation.

““Yet the Trump campaign’s cynical efforts to delay the recount and create unnecessary costs for taxpayers are shameful and outrageous.””

That line will now be run thousands of times on CNN, ETC with zero sense of irony.
