In the Elizabeth Warren worldview, anyone with a life outside of government must not be allowed to be president.
The folks voting for Trump already knew he had diverse business interests that will intersect with government activities. They voted for him in spite of it.
When Trump does something that has a positive affect on his business interests, the media will make it clear how he would benefit. That’s fine, and a far cry from seeking the presidency to enrich himself, as some of his properties are probably hurt by his successful run.

I don't know the details of the Trump Hotel lease, but I would expect that the lease payments have already been set for at least the next 4-8 years.
Trump wouldn't have committed to spending $200M on renovation without a guarantee to fix lease payments for at least an initial term. The rental rates for future lease extensions may also have already been set.

Warren is just trying to stay relevant and in the news. This is all she’s got.
