This is a rhetorical response inspired by your post, please don't think it it pointed at you (because of some of the language.) 🙂

They're not going to be any more expensive than they were. They're profit margin just won't be as high

I do like Trumps analogy on a toaster built here or overseas. He stated that while a $10 toaster may be an attractive price point for many Americans, it is unobtainable to a family with no income. A $40 toaster may be a discretionary price point for many Americans, but at least they would have an income to save and buy one.

At some point the idea of globalism became "Screw the American people if they don't like us making more money." While I support capitalism, it is not practiced widely outside of this country.

If people continue to run their business without the consideration of sustaining the infrastructure that makes capitalism possible, American freedom, they are being irresponsible custodians of the blessings we have. Now it is a matter of survival. People who place us all at risk will be challenged and yes, if one places us at risk they may get a very public @ss whupping in response.

The left has spent a lot of effort to remove "American values" away from the concept of "American freedom". They are about to be "re-educated" and many are not going to like it. America first, M@F@s...

I like what you wrote but your analogy about the toaster is completely wrong.

Labor is, on average, 8% of the retail cost if a product if it is made in the USA. A Chinese built product reduces labor to 1% with some increased trans costs, a net 6% savings. So your $10.00 Chinese built toaster would $10.80 made in the USA no where near $40.00.

Yes believe it: "The Captains of Industry" would sell out the US worker for 7 cents on the dollar. Vacation homes in Europe and the South Pacific are expensive.

100%. Business has been run by prodigal sons for 30 years, running through the legacy left by better people. That is why dogmatic free tradism is a dead end; it must be restrained by a moral code or world view that puts homeland before maximum profit. Eventually, what is best for the homeland is what's best for your family. But who does things that undermine their own family? Those that have no family or hate their family; politically, they are democrats. Socially, they are relativists. Economically, they are cronies, statists, insiders, elitist socialists. Grifters.
