Sarah Palin Under Consideration for VA Secretary
Sarah Palin is under consideration for secretary of veterans affairs, a close Palin aide and a top Donald Trump transition official tell ABC News.
The Palin aide tells ABC News that in “recent days,” Palin told Trump transition officials: “I feel as though the megaphone I have been provided can be used in a productive and positive way to help those desperately in need.”
The VA is the largest government agency with over 300,000 federal employees and a budget of $182 billion for 2017.
Palin’s son-in-law, Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer, posted a SarahPAC video to his Facebook page earlier this week that heavily focuses on her work with veterans and her specific connection to the community. Her eldest son, Track, is a veteran who served in Iraq in 2008. The video, which is not new, seems to clearly show her interest in the position, and in the speech, she hits the VA “bureaucracy,” saying it is “killing our vets.”

Dakota Louis Meyer (born June 26, 1988) is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and the War in Afghanistan. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions during the Battle of Ganjgal on September 8, 2009, in Kunar Province, Afghanistan.
Meyer is the second youngest living Medal of Honor recipient, the third living recipient for either Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation Enduring Freedom – Afghanistan and the first living Marine in 38 years to be so honored.

I think that is a great job for her with the potential if she does a good job of resurrecting her presidential aspirations.
if she was given interior she would do a great job but the only way to repair the damage done to her politically is to giver a job that everyone knows is going to be a problem with major fix’s needed.
I am a big fan but at this point in a election through no fault of hers she is damaged goods. this happened because of the lies and innuendo that were told about her by the McCain camp who wanted a scapegoat for him losing the election and by the media that at the biding of Hillary
Hillary saw her as a possible first female president so for about four years there was a concerted effort by friends of Hillary to destroy her with people that don’t pay attention to politics.

I really wanted Saracuda for press secretary so the evil MSM would have to talk to her on a daily basis. Heads exploding all over the place. I don’t see what she brings to the table for VA Director but I trust Trump’s judgment entirely.
The VA needs to be fixed. Mitt wouldn’t fix it. Remember, any failure reflects on Trump. I don’t want Romney in the administration whatsoever. Trump is trolling him great and making him feel loved and wanted, but at the end of the day, I am praying that Trump has to tell Mittens, “I just had other more qualified people, but keep tuned, maybe something will come up.” String him along but give Mittens NOTHING.
OK, I would make him Ambassador to Australia or some such thing to get him out of my hair. Ambassador to Norway or something. Someplace he can’t do any harm but he is out of my hair.

Meyer and Bristol were engaged a short time, broke off in 2015. Their baby Sailor was born. Meyer and Bristol were just married in July 2016.
That’s why I thought Dakota was an ex son-in-law.

I use the VA health system (and am satisfied with my care) .
I’m thinking Mitt’s experience analysing a company’s faults would be just what it needs.
Of course he wouldn’t have the option of selling off it’s parts...
Anywsy, it’ a job with a lot of bad publicity coming to it no matter how well someone performs IMO.
I was hoping Trump would task Sarah with shutting down the EPA.

Yeah, the place is a mess, but Palin cleaned up the Corrupt Bastards (or whatever they were call in Alaska)—and could probably at least do some real good and save some vet lives.
I love Sarah and do does Trump! She has skills. Trump will properly place her! Go Sarah!
