jim rob for interior secretary!
I respect that. I am not of military background either. I think you are right. What is needed is administrative implementation of policy . She was Governor of Alaska. She is well qualified. It is a tough job— not a plum. She is not faint of heart and the country will support her in the effort to root out the bureaucratic mold that has consumed this important agency. She will not be afraid to raise hell in public and she will not be compromised. I actually believe we should move the Vets to medicare upon their discharge and then use the VA infrastructure and doctors as our health care safety net for all citizens that can’t get insurance. Is that brilliant or what?
This is the post Romney should get. With all the work he did with Baine, fixing the VA would be the perfect job for him.
I like Sarah at any post Trump chooses, even Secretary of State. She has good instincts about what is good or not. Her early comments on Libya, Egypt and Syria were much more accurate than the wisdom of such experienced and ever so intelligent insiders as Hillary, John Kerry, or Ubama.
We need this one. Trump needs to throw us another bone with a conservative icon after Newt, Rudy and Ingraham failed to pan out. And we’ve seen nothing for days but appointments of Bushies and the donor class. I think the only Reaganite officially in the cabinet so far is K.T.
I hope she gets something! She’d knock ‘em dead!
JimRob for head of A.T.F. Who better to entrust with our nation’s supply of alcohol, tobacco and firearms?
And isn’t her daughter’s boyfriend/fiancé/baby daddy a MOH recipient (confess to not looking this up).
I think Sarah would do a great job with this post, if she gets it. Possibly she wants to be part of the administration, but not for a post destined to be mired in political controversy. Very few people would admit to being opposed to improving the VA.
Genius! A blue star mom who has commanded National Guard forces.
“The United States Secretary of Veterans Affairs is the head of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the department concerned with veterans’ benefits, health care, and national veterans’ memorials and cemeteries. The Secretary is a member of the Cabinet and second to last at sixteenth in the line of succession to the presidency (the position was last until the addition of the United States Department of Homeland Security in 2006[1]). To date, all appointees and acting appointees to the post have been United States military veterans, but that is not a requirement to fill the position.”
Sarah Palin would be the first woman appointed as U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
And also since there of are so many female veterans now, she would be a great pick for the position.
what are her qualifications?
I don’t see any in this regard.
will she fire people? Does she have any medical experience?
being a government official is not what it needed.
Put her at Interior.
Put Mitt at the VA.
She has her smoke show days for sure.
She has her smoke show days for sure.
Her son-in-law (Bristol’s hubby) got the Medal of Honor. Her son Track had/has major PTSD issues and apparently almost killed himself (and had to go rehab due to domestic violence issues with gf).
Sarah’s heart and soul would be 100% involved, if she got the job, and boy, she would raise hell right up to President Trump if blocked. I can’t see Romney doing that, or even Scott Walker (my 2nd choice).
Really?
Interesting thought! Marcus Lutrell would definitely be able to serve in some capacity, perhaps as an advisor if he didn’t want the top position.
She is a very good-looking woman! Love the jeans and belt buckle!
(I am a middle-aged woman; really admire how she’s kept her looks and stayed in shape).
